Due to some technical glitches with the original Show Me Your Nails Thread, I am starting a new thread with @vegchililover78's blessing (She says "hello," by the way!).
Please share your nail looks, nail art and manicures!
...And don't forget to check out @Beadshopgirl's Nail Stamping Thread for stamping inspiration! ❤️

Very true @Titian06 ! Although, idk, I feel like my right hand is a LOT fatter than the other.. but I am also right handed so maybe there's a lot of unseen muscles underneath LOL
Here's this week's mani.
All Nails: LynBDesigns Hot Cocoa. Dusty warm pink with gold shimmer.
Index, Middle, and Pinky: Two super easy coats.
Thumb & Ring: One super easy coat for a base followed by LynBDesigns I Think I'm Just So So. Dusty warm pink with gray tint, green and gold shift, and gold shimmer. Two super easy coats.
Outdoors direct sunlight ☀️; showing the gray tint on the ring finger, which isn't noticeable in real life, only in this pic. (Note the cute little bug.)
Outdoors direct sunlight; showing all the great shimmer!
Outdoors indirect light.

Outdoors indirect light; showing the color shift on ring finger (I couldn't get a good pic of the shift in the sunlight 😖 ).
Beautiful mani! I love these colors and I always appreciate seeing the different views! They are all stunning 🤩 💅 @Titian06
Thanks, @peculiarzmakeup ! I appreciate the kind words! 😘
I do my own nails and these are the nails for the month 😝😝😝
Beautiful pink mani! Love the gems and decor @Sofiasworld 💕
Thank you 🥰
Thank you 🥰
Catching up on some mani's from the week-and-a-half.
Rainbow Nails from last month for Pride Month. I found some extra-short press-ons online. I applied Deborah Lippmann Hard Rock - Nail Strengthening Top and Base Coat before applying the sticky tabs / nail glue and press-ons. It may be a placebo effect but I feel like it gives my already weak nails some extra protection against damage. To extend the wear, I sometimes apply the same Deborah Lippmann nail strengthener atop the press-ons to extend their wear.
Canada Day Mani 🇨🇦 - this looks more Christmas-y than Canada Day. My multiple attempts to stamp a maple leaf on my thumb and index finger nails were an epic fail 😔 as I couldn't even pick up the stamp on the stamper. <<womp, womp>> Canadian Thanksgiving is in the fall so I have until then to figure something out. Sorry @ather @CynthieLu @Mellmars1185, I tried to do a solid homage to Canada Day with my nail art but didn't quite succeed. Next time!
Fourth of July Mani 🇺🇸 - went with press ons for the long 4th of July weekend. They stayed on through a couple of BBQs. I thought the fruit designs were a fun, cute touch.
White & Black - I'm constantly in search of a good white nail polish - if anyone has one they like, I'm all ears! I find they can be fussier than yellow polishes. At least for me.
@itsfi Awww I love all three of these. And I am so impressed that you tried pressies again!! How do you find the tab pressies stay on? Does the nail strengthener help them stay on longer and lessen damage?
Thank you for your solid attempts to do a maple leaf! 🍁 that was so sweet of you to try! I bet you will be a pro by thanksgiving!!!
How cute is the 4th of July pressies!! The fruit is so cute I love them! 😍
The white nails with the glitter is so pretty. I first thought you must have done every single dot by hand! It’s so pretty. I love how they are scattered about!
oh my goodness, I'm calling these pressies from now on @ather; that's super cute! 😍 Argh, bested by the maple leaf. But I am determined to try to do a maple leaf nail art mani at some point. This fail has motivated me more. 😆 I love seeing the crisp white mani's but can never get that clean, fresh white polish on my nails. This took 3 coats and there were some bald spots and streaking. Enter nail polish topper! I always forget how much I like the effect the toppers create until I use one and then my ahhhh and excitement for them comes flooding back. They're like the concealer of mani's - hides the blemishes. 😉🤣
I don't know if it's a placebo effect but I've gotten in the habit of using a nail strengthener or a top coat on my nails before applying the sticky tabs. I've had good luck with sticky tabs but for the 4th of July pressies, I had one nail where there was a little hiccup in removing the sticky tab from the packet so sorta balled on one of the nails and that pressie did fall off - fear not, the pressie did not fly off nor did it hit anyone. Phew. 😂 I haven't tried press-ons without first applying a nail hardener / base coat. Perhaps I will do that with the next set of pressies I use. For science, of course. 😉 For science. 🔬👩🔬
@itsfi Awww I struggle with white too! I haven’t found a perfect white that is crisp and clean. Normally it looks like my high school days of whiteout on my nails. Hmm am I the only one who did that!!!
Lol. I wish i could take credit for the term pressies but I am sure I have heard that from some place!! Hmmm interesting that the sticker balled up and didn’t help the nail last. I’ve been curious about the tab pressies. Do you have a brand you like? Or one you’ve tried? I’ve seen so many people rave about the Glamnetic nails but they look to be glue. And I’m not sure I want to use glue yet. I need my nails to grow out a little more.
@ather, I never did whiteout on my nails in high school - I only was allowed to paint my nails for special occasions, but I'm sure I would have made a glompy mess of the whiteout. 😅
I have a box of Glamnetic nails but haven't used them...yet. I learned that Glamnetics has nail stickies / nail tabs (not at Sephora, but through the brand's site and on amazon) so I picked up a pack of those. I don't think I'll use the nail glue that comes with the set - it'll get tossed in the pil of nail glue I have going. Should I get to the point where I'm up for trying nail glue with my pressies, I will have pleeeeenty to choose from. 🤣
I've only tried a few pressies; right now, I'm *thinking* about trying press-ons once every month or every other month, to give them a fair shake. Of the ones I've tried, I like the Kiss imPress press-ons best, the short length, though the rainbow pressies I did last month (from brand Mangoit ??) were really good too - they were 'short' and were just the teensiest bit longer than where my natural nails were at the time. 😆 The Kiss imPress nails come with the sticky tabs. I first learned about them after seeing some super cute prints that @sister13 wore. @caitbird used some beautiful velvet-y looking ones a few pages down from the same brand.
I got some of those Glamnetic sticky tabs, but haven't tried them yet (and, eek, I remember buying them but have no idea where they might be!). @ather @itsfi
I think Glamnetic are SO PRETTY, but I had a bad experience because that glue is SO VERY sticky and does not seem to budge. I thought one was coming off/ready to pull off, so I sort of tried to pry it and I broke/split the nail underneath horizontally and it was so very painful. The nail did not come off, it just remained painful to the touch and I put a band-aid on to try to avoid further pain but it was so sensitive for a while.
I guess maybe you can soak them off with acetone or whatever, but I much prefer the KISS Impress sticky tabs which stay on very securely but also seem to come off without damage to your natural nail when they're ready and you can probably hurry them along with water and or remover.
The Glamnetic also seemed to be a little narrow with an exaggerated curve, which is - again - so pretty, but felt a little uncomfortable when first applied, like it was pulling up on my natural nails a bit.
@sister13 Thank you for sharing your experience. Ouch. That sounds painful! It reminds me of the days when I use to have acrylic nails and jam them. Ouch! I can feel the pain in my fingers now!!
