LOL SAME HERE @Mellmars1185. I've actually filed the sides of my nails quite a bit to prevent breakage (vs blunt/straight edges...). I'll report back as to if it stays together or not 🤣

A'ight, so, lemme ask...what exactly were you expecting based off that pic? Any detail helps! (There's no snark behind that, btw...I just wanted clarify what is off to your eye. I do have some thoughts, but I'm also working with three pics that Sephora smooshed a bit, lowering the quality, so never having seen the polish in person, I may not be seeing everything there is to see!)

LOL HELLO NAIL MASTER @RGbrown . I think I was expecting a pink with multi glitter as shown. It was just a pink with silver glitter which I can basically buy anywhere plus I'm pretty sure I own something exactly like it. I've been catfished.

My first thought of the image of the polish you posted was that it looks like an attempt (admittedly, not a great one) to render rose gold glitter + holo glitter digitally. If you look closely at the ad image, some of the largest glitters show off multiple colors at once, as holo does. It's subtle though, not something everyone will pick up on, as a digital rendering is no substitute for actual pictures and a written description 😐

While holo glitter can come in almost any color, silver is by far the most common, though the image is trying to show it all lit up as rainbows and doesn't hint at what color holo they might have used. 

Looking at your third pic with direct light on your nails, I do see the holo effect quite clearly. Holo doesn't show off a rainbow in all lights, it's typically got to have a bright light to reflect, and in other lights, you'll just see whatever base color the glitter is (silver, in this case).

I do think it's about what was advertised, but only to a more experienced eye. A brand relying on digital drawings to depict their polishes isn't putting in the time and effort to accurately show what they look like, and disappointment will be common if you aren't looking up swatches whenever possible...a digital rendering like this may be an attempt to display a color, but it'll never be anywhere close to pictures of it in actual use.
