I bought a couple of those surratt prismatique lipsticks on the last day of the sale and decided to try one this morning.

this is Jolie laid.  It is described as 'ambiguous purple taupe'   It looks like clear lip balm with a little glitter on me.

so far I am not impressed. :S

Hmmm. Now I can't decide if I want to leave this on my Loves list or not. It looks really pretty and subtle on you, but probably not worth $36 as you can get a similar effect with other brands. Any chance you also picked up 'Cultive'?

They are $44 here, so definitely not worth it IMO.  

I would need to double check.  Aside from this one I got the gold one, a burgundy one, a bronze one and I forgot what the last one is 😮

ETA: I got Lame, Haute Monde, Cafe Societe, Glitterati and Joli Laid.

Definitely not worth it for that one! Although it still does look nice on you. I hope the other colors are more impressive!

Yeah, 'Cultive' is a pale blue that turns pink on the lips. You would know if you had it. 😉

Ah, I did not get that one because it sounded too similar to Opal.

I couldn't recall since none of the names seem to have anything to do with the colors 😄

Ironically, given the swatches, "ambiguous purple taupe" is the most unambiguous description of a lipstick I've encountered. Props to Surratt 😉

Mine arrived today - I'm actually pretty happy with this perk! I have points to spare, and I wanted Voodoo which is why I grabbed it... but it's a great little travel sized palette for when you don't need/want a lot of eye makeup.
