alright, here it is. use this thread to request swatches. the guidelines are up to you and your needs: single swatches, comparison swatches, specific skin tone swatches

when comparisons are requested, feel free to provide whatever you have of that request--i want anyone to participate and contribute if they want to. have fun, hope this is helpful !

Some of the new D & G lips. I bought a few of them at first and then added a few more because I loved the formulas so much! I think I maybe prefer the satin as although it’s a satin feel and application it really stays on, dries down and feels so comfortable, more of a demi-matte. Wonderful stains too and zero bleeding. The matte is also terrific with even more pigment. The satin has a mild vanilla scent but not as heavy imo as some other reviews have mentioned. Nordies notes def came in handy for these as they are small. But a little goes a long way!  These are all cool-toned tho 2018 is more neutral ish. I am really impressed with them as well as the previous blush and highlighter powder released! 

The LipLab new shades are good. Napa is more of a sheer shine and very smooth. The other 2 are the traditional formulas and more satiny matte. Red Velvet is a cool neutral red like the original and UESide appears warmer but it’s also a cool pinky red.  Nice sturdy cases. 😊

@Sunnysmom  Let’s pretend I don’t have a BOPIS order waiting at Nordstrom that contains 3 D&G skinny bullets (1 of each formula). 😂 It might also include a nail polish. Hypothetically speaking, of course. 😅 I almost passed up the satins after hearing folks complain about the fragrance, but decided to give one shade a chance. Good to know you don’t find the scent overpowering, and that these lipsticks perform well for you. The shades you picked are lovely! 

And yay, you grabbed some of the new Lip Lab shades! Well, “new” including their Bite comebacks. I’ve had my eye on Napa so it’s good to see your swatch. I really like Lip Lab’s sheer bullet formula; Scottsdale is always in my purse.

Excellent @WinglessOne ! I was hoping you may or may not have gotten any!! 🤣 I’m curious how you find them and the sheer formula. I may have to try one of those too. Ugh. Was really hard to choose right?! Similar shades. Yes I don’t find the satin to be overpowering at all. Especially considering how the old ones were and also other brands’ scents. I almost didn’t try them. Excited to see yours! I had forgotten that Napa was a sheer when I ordered it because it didn’t look it online. Not sure what I think about the Pomegranate flavor to some of them vs vanilla or mint that I really liked. Scottsdale looks cool. I love my other LA and Chicago too. (Yay Chicago! 🥰)

Yes Napa is good @Ispend2much6 . Lip Lab are always very scented however as you probably know! 😊 Looks like other good D &G shades for you . The sheers look so pretty!

@Sunnysmom I've been in more of a lip tint kick lately that I can't seem to quit lol maybe down the line. Have you tried their cheek products? Those are so pretty, too.

Ooh love the subtle tints @makeitup305 . I bet so pretty on you. Which are you loving lately?! Yes I have a few of the blush! They are so pretty along with the packaging too!

@Sunnysmom I really like the Dinto tints. They're glowy in the beginning and I don't find the tint to be very drying. They also have a really big shade range and the colors look very similar to the picture when applied, which I appreciate since I can't swatch them in person .

Comparison of WA Dash red in holiday lip trio set vs WA Pip @CynthieLu . Dash is a bit deeper and looks more neutral , but is still cool -toned and is also a little bit more flattering at least on my lips. Pip is def brighter on tho both are cool tones. Still similar enough tho and if you have Pip you probably don’t need Dash. 🤷🏻‍♀️ 😊💄

These are so lovely, such a pretty (pink red) I don’t know what the name for the actual color would be they do seem similar but both very pretty such a unique set ❤️ @Sunnysmom

Pip is more of a pinky red @peculiarzmakeup and the new Dash is a bit deeper and more neutral but def in the same family! 🥰 Either would look spectacular on you! 🤩

I don't own Pip, but if Dash became a regular seller it's one I would consider from this swatch. It's more everyday neutral. 👌Thank you for these swatches 🙏🙏
