April empties! April was a pretty good month for empties, I'm pretty happy with how much I managed to get through this month.

April 2025 empties: 25 (15 full size, 7 minis/deluxe samples, 3 foils)

Loves:

💜Burt's Bees Tea Tree Oil Acne Treatment - I have been using this for like 10 years, it works really well for me. I've lost track of how many I've gone through. I need to pick up a replacement!

💜Tree Hut Strawberry Shea Sugar Scrub

💜Facetory Soothin' Vibes Body Serum - I believe this is discontinued, and I'm very sad about it, I absolutely would have repurchased 😢

💜Living Proof Perfect hair Day (PhD) Advanced Clean Dry Shampoo  - I prefer the original (my 🐐) but this one is really good also

👍Benton Snail Bee High Content Essence - I prefer the COSRX Snail Mucin Essence slightly more, but this is good too

👍Glossier Super Bounce Hyaluronic Acid + Vitamin B5 Hydrating Face Serum 1 oz / 30 mL  - this is good but there are other good ones that are less expensive

👍Timeless 20% Vitamin C Serum - my current favorite vitamin C serum, I feel it works well for me

👍eos Shea Better 24hr Moisture Fragrance-Free Body Lotion - good inexpensive, unscented lotion

👍Glossier Orange Blossom Neroli candle

👍Glossier You candle

👍Shy Wolf "Enigma" candle - shame this one is OOAK and I can't repurchase lol

Meh:

😐Provence Beauty No Baggage Adaptogen Eye Cream - hydrating, but nothing special IMO

😐Elemis Pro-Collagen Makeup Melting Cleansing Balm  - did not like the scent of this

😐CLINIQUE Take The Day Off™ Makeup Removing Cleansing Balm   - fine, but I prefer other cleansing balms

😐Glossier Sandstone candle - compared to the other two Glossier candles, the throw of this one was lackluster

Horrible/Hall of Shame:

😬Function of Beauty Leave-in Conditioner - hated it, it's not quite finished as you can see but I just couldn't bring myself to do it anymore. I have another full bottle bc I forgot to cancel my subscription, but I might just toss it. I hate to waste but this is really unpleasant to use 😓

Fine/no particular opinion: everything else

April 2025 declutters: 5 (4 full size, 1 mini)

The 3 compacts were all smashed 😭 and making a mess everywhere, so they had to go. I've already replaced the Milani baked blush & Rare Beauty by Selena Gomez Positive Light Silky Touch Highlighter Enlighten , still have to get a replacement for the Smashbox x Becca highlighter (Champagne Pop). The LANEIGE Glowy Makeup Serum 1.0 oz/ 30 mL  was one of my first purchases from Sephora and I just didn't feel like it was doing anything for me. The e.l.f. Halo Glow Filter is the wrong shade for me unfortunately.

I have to do a bigger declutter still, but maybe in May I'll get to that.

@caitbird Wow so many empties! I am glad to hear the Burt's Bee's Tea Tree oil is working well for you. I find with all of the new releases it is hard for me to stick to something that works well. I will make note of this for when I am done my current stash of acne products. How was the scent on your Clinique Cleansing Balm?

Wowwy @caitbird, you did an amazing job working through your beauty items! 😍 Seeing the Clinique TTDO balm brought back some fond memories for me - that was my introduction to cleansing balms! That's good to know about the Timeless Vitamin C serum.

Dolce glow, TJ Brazil nut, briogeo, Fenty comeback kid yttp cleanser and farmacy cleansing Balm are absolutely 💯 excellent products!! I did love the olehenriksen eye cream,  looks like it's discontinued 😭 the TF oil spray was great too

The hair gel is good as far as hold,  but when I bought it online I didn't realize it was blue, i guess i thought the bottle was blue not the product itself and the scent is kinda gross.

The AG care leave in Conditioner is far too heavy for my hair

☝️ this was soooo hard,  but the pmg gloss smells terrible and the fenty cream Blush are not looking so great

@lmaster I love the show Emily in Paris. I need to watch the latest season still. I definitely would have picked up this candle. I have told myself I cannot buy anymore soaps or candles until I am done my stash. I tend to never run out, lol! Great job destashing those products. I can totally relate to it being difficult.
