Seeing product empties is so satisfying 🙂
Post your weekly, monthly, quarterly, whenever-ly empties and let us know how you felt about them!
Previous Empties thread:
Empties- Oct 2024 to April 2025
Way too many products featured so I’ll narrow down by the standouts:
LOVE:
TirTir Cushion Foundation- picked this up in Japan last year and am not turning back. I have oily skin but still manage to love the coverage and glow this provides
KVD Star Powder (Petal)- discontinued years ago and this was my last backup but I have since discovered a LM pink setting powder that works as a great substitute 🙂
Ilia bronzer- discontinued??? I don’t see this on the website any longer which is a shame as the product was great and packaging pretty luxe.
Tatcha The Indigo Cleansing Balm Moisturizing Makeup Remover 1.9 oz / 54 g - my HG makeup removing balm
K18 Biomimetic Hairscience Leave-In Molecular Repair Hair Mask - the best thing to have happened to my damaged hair
Meh: ALPYN Pore Perfecting Liquid Exfoliator with 2% BHA + Borage 4 oz / 118 mL - it was just okay by the time I finished the bottle. Nothing to write home about.
NO: BondiBoost- anything. Unfortunately, after a year or so of my stylist & I trying to narrow down what was turning my hair GREEN, the culprit was the BondiBoost volumizing products I was using before my color sessions. I have one more BB item to kill before I part ways with the brand.
Here are my empties for February and March
I loved the JVN hair styling serum! I want to get it again but I have to work through some others first. While I usually enjoy most of the B&BW creams, not this one. It has a glitter to it that I don’t care for. The ABEO is a foot cream that smells like lavender and it is wonderful on my dry cracked feet. The shower gel from Korres is great too!
I use the Good Molecules toner and it works good for me. The Inkey List hyaluronic acid is very good and not pricey. This is my 2nd bottle. It took me a year to finish the Laneige lip balm. But I opened another one right after. This is in my nightly routine. The face cream was part of my free birthday gift and it is a wonderful cream. And I FINISHED THE TRESOR! Part of my Project Pan!😁
I like DDG alpha beta peel pads . The two hand creams are very good. I didn’t like this scent from Kilian. I did like the mascara from Sephora. It performs really good for me. The Topicals sample wasn’t for me.
Can you guess what my favorite skincare brand is...
I just emptied another one of my LANEIGE Water Bank Blue Hyaluronic Cream Moisturizer for Moisture Barrier Repair and was adding it to my pile when i realized just how many i had😂
To be fair, most of them are from before they made it refillable, so from now on im only buying refills !🩵
Are you involved in product recycling?
@MeMiV I recycle as much product containers as I can locally. Some stores have a spot for you to bring them also!
Loves
- Purito hydrocolloid patches. The best ones out there without salicylic acid or tea tree, which don't agree with my skin
- iNNBEAUTY PROJECT Mineral Sun Glow Broad Spectrum Sunscreen SPF 43 PA +++ with Peptides and Vitamin C . Works great under makeup, leaves a nice glow
- Beauty of Joseon cleanser. Nice gel cleanser that doesn't strip my skin
- Biossance Omega Repair Deep Hydration Moisturizer with Ceramides and Hyaluronic Acid + Squalane 1.69 oz / 50 mL not too exciting but does keep my skin well hydrated. I'm currently using the S. Nature Aqua Squalane Cream which is very similar. Both work great for my dry skin and sit well under makeup.
Likes
- Round Lab Birch toner pads. Nice and hydrating but I prefer others
- Dermatory Cica Gauze pads. I liked the gel feeling of the pads. might buy again but not an immediate repurchase.
- belif Aqua Bomb Depuffing Eye Gel with Caffeine + Hyaluronic Acid 0.5 oz / 15 ml . It was nice but I prefer a cream over a gel
- VT Reedle Shot Eye Cream. It was nice, it came with a vibrating applicator. Not an immediate repurchase, though.
Misses
- SEPHORA COLLECTION Ultimate Gel Waterproof Eyeliner Pencil . I've bought a few of these and they always dry out too fast.
the iNNBEAUTY PROJECT Mineral Sun Glow Broad Spectrum Sunscreen SPF 43 PA +++ with Peptides and Vitamin C is my absolute favorite!
You are 100% correct, it looks amazing under makeup💗
@ather It's a bummer bc the color is so fun. I think someone else mentioned a similar issue with the HAUS LABS BY LADY GAGA Optic Intensity Eco Waterproof Gel Eyeliner Pencil
@ather @makeitup305 Oh yes I have had the same issue with the Haus Labs liner. After wr discussed it, I checked my purchase history and I had it for about 6 months before it completely dried out.
@Mellmars1185 it's probably more than 1 month but I'm glad to have gone through so many, considering my collection 😅
@makeitup305 great empties! The Innbeauty Project sunscreen sounds very nice. I am still on the hunt for my HG sunscreen, but I have a few on hand to try before I buy any more lol.
