White line of lips

For some reason a couple hours after I apply lip balm or gloss I get this crusty white line on the side of my lip and I don’t know how to get red of it bc if I don’t use lip balm then my lips get chapped and peel

Hmmm I’m not sure. It could be the lip balm you are using.
