The Fall Lip Challenge

Okay okay, so I know it isn't *technically* fall quite yet (we just had a heat wave in the Bay Area...) but we are just too excited to break out all of the mauves, browns and deep reds for this festive season! Whatever your take on a Fall lip is, we want to see your pics and hear your thoughts.

Hi everyone! I posted a review of the IT vitality gloss and I wore on top of the TF peaches and cream moisture matte in my picture a few days ago the other day but since i'm such a fan of the gloss (because of the moisturizing/treatment and non-tingly non-painful plumping properties - I think that's the collagen at work).  As an added bonus it leaves a nice pink stain that lasts even after the gloss has rubbed off and it's a bit of a "mood" lippie if you will - it's supposed to give everyone "their perfect shade of pink" and I did try it on my girlfriend and it did come out a slightly different shade of pink so I do think there is some variation but for anyone who is potentially interested and wondering what the gloss looks like I thought I would post a couple of pics of what it looks like on me (because it turns a bit of a darker colour when applied, in the tube it's very very light pink).  In the first picture I am wearing it with the matching IT cosmetics lip liner in the matching shade which is called (both for the gloss and for the liner) "je ne sais quoi".  In the second photo I am wearing it with a dark/currant kind of coloured liner and I've used the applicator to blend the liner out a bit with the gloss.  This changes the colour of the gloss but I like to mix new colours by using a much darker liner and I thought I would include it anyways just for fun.  Anyone who hates the shade of pink but is still interested in a collagen/treatment gloss can pick another colour though - the gloss is available in a couple different shades but the other shades work like traditional glosses (no colour shift or "mood gloss" effect when applied).

@tsavoriteThank you! : ) haha I really love that gloss I'm raving a little bit but I like any lip product with Collagen in it I feel like it makes a difference - look and feel wise - but they are hard to find - I only know of the IT cosmetics products and the Marc Jacobs poutliner that have collagen.   I've recently been purchasing more and more liners because I like to play with mixing different liners and shades to try and create more different looks.  I have so many lipsticks but there's a few products I keep going back to all the time so I try and mix those up a bit.  The gloss is very moist but not sticky like MAC lip glass or anything like that : )

@RoseCharlie This is such a lovely pink gloss. I really like the effect of the berry lipliner with the gloss. You made such a cool ombre effect with it. Both versions look gorgeous on you!

I kind of like the ombre effect too it transitions it into fall and I always feel like an Ombre lip with darker contours makes the lips look more voluminous! : )
