The Fall Lip Challenge

Okay okay, so I know it isn't *technically* fall quite yet (we just had a heat wave in the Bay Area...) but we are just too excited to break out all of the mauves, browns and deep reds for this festive season! Whatever your take on a Fall lip is, we want to see your pics and hear your thoughts.

Here's the challenge: Dig into your lipstick stash and pull out those fall-themed lippies! Post below with your different looks and, of course, let us know what you're wearing. We love to hear application tips and your thoughts on the product.

Ohhhhh new hair!  Rooch is one is a shade I told myself I didn't need but every now and again someone wears it I have a slight pang of regret, lol.  Both hair and lip look great @SpaceLlama!

Thank you, @ElleElleG! It's such a nice colour. Definitely darker than in the tube, but that's what I wanted. It just bleeds/stains around my lips though. Otherwise, I love it and I highly recommend it 😉

Ahhh @SpaceLlama — it's like your hair color has changed with the color of the leaves. We've moved out of summer squarely into fall. It's a lovely shade and very flattering on you — especially with the lip color!

i usually do lots of dark lowlights, but i like several colors for dimension @SpaceLlama! i think i'm going to add some fiery orange streaks too!

Thank you, @melissapurple22! I took out a picture of maple leaves changing colour when I was choosing my dyes haha. It didn't exactly turn out like that, but I still love it.

Whoa!  Your hair looks FRIGGEN AWEOME!!!!! are you loving it?  I love the lipstick matched to it!  

I've been washing my hair twice a day trying to fade it out faster so I don't have to have the color lifted for my next shade(s) in a couple weeks:). It hasn't been fading as fast as planned. It was supposed to be lighter and icier by now and all I have is one blonde strip.  @SpaceLlama

@heartsmyface  I've read, and believe it from my own experience, that clarifying shampoos will fade hair coloring more quickly than other shampoos.  I love the one from Number 4 Hair Care, but it sure did take all the color out of my roots the past week.

Thank you, @heartsmyface! I've never had hair this dark before so I'm getting used to it. I'm really glad I picked up some burgundy and tangerine as well to add some dimension. 🙂 I'm kind of worried about what it will look like when it starts fading. 

Did you try adding a little peroxide to some conditioner to try to remove the colour? Head and Shoulders shampoo is also terrible for colour so my mom would recommend that to me when my hair became very uneven and I needed to get rid of the colour. I've never tried it because I didn't want to buy another shampoo bottle, so I can't guarantee it works. Last question: What colour are you getting next? 😁
