The Fall Lip Challenge

Okay okay, so I know it isn't *technically* fall quite yet (we just had a heat wave in the Bay Area...) but we are just too excited to break out all of the mauves, browns and deep reds for this festive season! Whatever your take on a Fall lip is, we want to see your pics and hear your thoughts.

Here's the challenge: Dig into your lipstick stash and pull out those fall-themed lippies! Post below with your different looks and, of course, let us know what you're wearing. We love to hear application tips and your thoughts on the product.

Thank goodness I only ordered one of the KVD glimmer veils because these things suck all the moisture from your lips and then some leaving your lips feeling like dried up leaves.  I can't even move them without feeling the lipstick crack. When it dries down it doesn't stretch with your mouth movement if that makes sense?   This is Rocker.  Extremely disappointed. I have to take this off. So bad!

@heartsmyface I found the same problem with those lipsticks. Extremely drying. Such a shame because it's a beautiful color on you.

@heartsmyface Is that the Glimmer Veil alone, without anything under it? I'm surprised at the opacity. This color is a really beautiful contrast to your hair color.

Sucks to hear that they suck the moisture out of your lips @heartsmyface because this looks awesome!! So... I can scratch these off my wish list, then??

@k617 You're better off waiting for a few more reviews because my experience is most likely a me issue.  

The formula dries down and the glitter is very sandpapery.  It doesn't budge.  There was a little glitter fallout.  I think the rest of my unpleasant experience was me reacting to one of the ingredients.

Mmmm sandpapery doesn't sound good. Since my lips have healed from the Bite reactions of 2015 & 2016, they have been pretty healthy but I don't know if they can tolerate that. I'll make sure to give it a try before I buy though!! @heartsmyface Hope your lips heal quickly with some TLC!

@heartsmyface that's really disappointing!  fabulous shade but comfort is 1000x more important.

Comfort is about 94%.  If the lipstick outshines the sun or has amazing holographic effects going on, then I will drop that to 75%. @ElleElleG
