The Fall Lip Challenge

Okay okay, so I know it isn't *technically* fall quite yet (we just had a heat wave in the Bay Area...) but we are just too excited to break out all of the mauves, browns and deep reds for this festive season! Whatever your take on a Fall lip is, we want to see your pics and hear your thoughts.

Here's the challenge: Dig into your lipstick stash and pull out those fall-themed lippies! Post below with your different looks and, of course, let us know what you're wearing. We love to hear application tips and your thoughts on the product.

@Glitternoodle I LOVE TooLips on you!!!  And I'm glad the balm helped!  When I first started using liquid lipsticks it took me a while to get the hang of using the applicator at different angles to help with application.  The more you practice the easier it will be.  Also, explore different balms.  Almost all work but you'll find some give a more longlasting moisture to the lips.  Hope this means you'll be purchasing more of the satin ColourPop lippies 😉

@ElleElleG I used EOS with this one, I figured my other ones would be too gooey and greasy. I might try Nuxe Reve De Miel to see how the matteness of that works with it. I will post my other two satin colourpops soon 😁

Thanks @fatimamummy!  I enjoy the formula quite a bit.  Not moussey per se but not  a runny liquid lipstick which I appreciate.  Wears well throughout the day; it's rare that I need to reapply especially if I prepped my lips before application.

@ElleElleGLovely! I really like that it's a pinky-berry-mauve kind of shade that is gorgeous but hard to pinpoint exactly for me on the colour wheel - adds a little mystery!

Sorry to hear that.  I know a number of people expressed their frustrations about the lack of stock on both Ulta and Dose of Color's social media.  Fingers crossed another sale pops up in the near future.

@ElleElleG it was more my own fault than ulta haha...I was trying to be good and skipped at first (when almost everything was available). My will power was winning, but later in the day I was going to give in and by then they were mostly OOS. I'm not too sad, i reeeeaallly didn't need to buy more 😁

That’s a really pretty shade @ElleElleG! I was also amazed by how quickly ulta sold out of the liquid lips during the sale. I grabbed one before I went to bed luckily!

Great color @ElleElleG I missed out on the Ulta 21 days sale when they had Dose of Colors - Mood was on my list 😕

I'm sorry you missed it @HookedOnBeauty2!  IMO they didnt have a large stock of the Dose of Colors to begin with because I was on & ready to check out the second they went on sale and 3 of the other shades I wanted immediately went out of stock 😞  

Hope they do another sale on these!!
