There's a post every other day about the best lip combo (keep them coming!) I've gotten to love lip contouring/ombre lips more than I thought I would, and I of course, need to justify a use for some of these lip liners/glosses/lipsticks etc...😶💄🤫

I also can't remember half of them, so if this a thread where I'm replying to myself 🤷🏽‍♀️, at least I'll have a list

How do you like that MAC lipstick? Do you find it drying at all? How long does it wear on you before you need to reapply?

@itsfi Aw, thanks! I find this new MAC formula interesting. I wouldn't say it is drying. I haven't tried a formula quite like it. I would say it does feel a bit pillowy on the lips. Adding a gloss would definitely help if one finss it drying. I would no say it is super long lasting, like a liquid matte. I am still testing but so far I am happy with it. I find that the shades are builable, which I enjoy.

This pairing has been an oft-reached one for 6+ weeks now. The stain is also lovely on its own; I like topping it with something, in this case, just a dab of a balm for hydration.

@itsfi Lovely lip combo. I still have the Huda stain in my collection that I need to try. I think I am afraid I won't apply it with a steady hand so I haven't tried yet. Do you have any tips on applying the stains?

Oh @Mellmars1185, your lip lines have alwasy been incredibly and beautifully precise in your posts #goals but I hear you, especially with a lip “stain”. I’m not an expert with lip stains but I would say, work in quadrants/sections and go slow. I also keep a thinly pointed (the thinner the better) cotton swab close by that I pre-moisten with some Lancome bi-facil eye/lip makeup remover if needed - I usually always need it. 😆

I’ve seen videos of people applying the lip stains in their car so quickly and easily, some not even stopping or lifting the pen as they go from the top to bottom lip and I’m just thinking “whaaaat?? How??!” I’ve had my HB for 6+ months now and still apply it in sections.
