Aww, thanks so much - some products definitely help them, though still usually just the first day, then they start to flatten out. It wasn’t that long ago my friend convinced me to go get the curly cut because I had all these waves underneath but mostly straight on the outer layers. I’ve learned on TikTok people are calling this Irish hair which my cousins and I have (and Irish heritage)! @CorgiMommy

@sister13  You are much wiser than me.  I glopped that stuff in and acted like I meant to have sticky heavy hair😆.   It does give pretty and natural definition to your waves.  
I’m trying to grow my own hair so my first instinct is to scream not to cut it but I know how thick and heavy it can get.

LOL, That is one lesson I’ve had to learn multiple times about applying too much. I’m definitely overdue for a cut but never seem to have the time! @heartsmyface

I'm delayed in unboxing and posting but I did finally get a chance to unbox this lovely box. Thanks so much to @TeamBIC  and to all the brands for the chance to try out these awesome products! 

I was so excited to see the hair theme and the super cute swag, including the super cute travel bag with my initials on it!  All the products fit right in there! 

There was also a luggage tag with the Sephora Beauty Insider Community (BIC) Winky logo, a headband that features the icons from the BIC, and some branded hairties. Of course, it was all enclosed in the signature polka dotted BIC box.

Anyway, the products included some incredible new and standby items from DAE, MorocconOil, Color Wow, Kerastase, Amika and even the #Briogeo Style + Treat™ Hair Styling Sleek Stick 0.5 oz / 15 g  that will be perfect for taming all my flyaways.

I haven’t had a chance to fully try everything out yet but just tested out the textures and scents to get a first impression. I already loved the Kérastase Elixir Ultime Refillable Hydrating Hair Oil # original, and I already bought the new travel size, so I’m thrilled to have the new refillable full size to try

I’m always looking for great volume for my long hair, so I’m excited to try these volumizing styling products - the amika Rising Star Volumizing Finishing Spray 5.3 oz / 165 mL # and  the COLOR WOW Xtra Large Bombshell Volumizer .

The Moroccanoil Luminous Hairspray Strong Finish 10 oz/ 330 mL # has that amazing signature scent, so I know I’ll get a lot of use out of that and I can’t wait to try the dae Cactus Fruit 3-in-1 Styling Cream Original  - it smells SO GOOD, and I’ve heard such great things about it

I did post the box on my instagram and TikTok (@ makeuphappyhour) and I’m looking forward to posting my detailed reviews on my blog (makeuphappyhour dot com) and on the Sephora.com product pages. This was my second time using the COLOR WOW Xtra Large Bombshell Volumizer 6.5 oz / 195 ml . I rough blow dried my curly, thin hair until it was mostly dry but not too dry so I could manipulate the curls. I blow dried my hair in sections starting with the bottom third of my hair. I used half a pump on each side of each third. I like how this leave my hair feeling. It gives it texture, without being crispy. I also noticed because of the little extra texture I get at the roots, my hair lasts a bit longer between washes. Or at least it looks fresher than it normally does.

@lmaster Thank you so much! I used to wear a side part all of the time but I have been wearing it in the middle for a few years now. When I flipped it to the side this time I was pleasantly surprised how much I liked it. I ended up keeping it to the side the whole time I had my hair down this week.
