Acne.

Hey ❤️ I have acne and blemishes that just come out of nowhere. I have tried many skincare products and my skin clears up at first, but then I break out again. My skin is mostly dry and sensible, so I need a moisturizer that will hydrate my face but not clog my pores. Any recommendations would be really helpful, thanks!

Re: Acne.

Hi, @em2403 !  If the acne is "com[ing] out of nowhere" and with your dry skin, my thought is you may want to try an exfoliator.  This will help remove dead and dry skin cells as well as cell turnover.  Although my skin is combo/oily, it is becoming drier as I get older.  My fave exfoliater is Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant Refillable Exfoliator 2.6 oz/ 74g .  It's a powder, so you can use as much or little as you want.  If you prefer, you could use a chemical exfoliant:  AHA/BHA, this would be salicylic acid or something with fruit acids.  This is outside my realm.  Although I do use SEPHORA COLLECTION 2% Salicylic Acid Acne Treatment Gel 1 oz / 30 mL each evening.

I also use #The Ordinary Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% Oil Control Serum 2 oz/ 60 mL  each evening.  I don't know how this works for dry skin.

As for a moisturizer, two longtime faves for me are Tatcha The Water Cream Oil-Free Pore Minimizing Moisturizer 2.5 oz / 75 mL and First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair® Cream Intense Hydration .   The Tatcha direct website is currently having a 25% off sale.  I use both, one in the morning and one in the evening (no particular reason other than I like both).
