Beautiful haul, @itsfi! Dior 112 looks gorgeous on you.  I haven’t tried Hung Vanngo Beauty yet, I can’t decide if I want to yet during the sale. I have a long list already.

@curlychiquita, thank you! I'm very happy with my Hung Vanngo lipsticks; I like and wear them more than I thought I would. I'm sure your list for the sale has some lovely options. There's been so many great releases thus far and I've no doubt more will drop leading to the sale so it's hard to go wrong.

Beautiful choices @itsfi !  How are the scents on the Eadem balms?  Any grittyness with the shimmer?

@missjeanie, the scent on the two new Eadem lip balms are moderate with the pain au chocolat being the stronger of the two. Croissant au beurre is much more faint to my nose. I don’t get any grittiness from the shimmers. 

Pain au chocolat smells like a pain au chocolat - as it’s dispensed from the slant tip applicator and applied to the lips. The scent disappears entirely pretty much after I’ve applied it to my lips. I can pick up the scent on the pad of the finger I used to smooth out the balm but not on my lips. It actually reminds me of our sheet mask days - you can detect the scent out of the packet or sleeve and as it’s being applied to the face but once it’s on, for a majority of the sheet masks, somehow the scent is no longer detectable. I wouldn’t mind if it lingered longer. 🍫 

I had to do some editing to get the shade to more closely resemble how it actually looks in real life. It still leans more orange / rust in the pic; IRL it has more red undertones on my lips.

R/T Detailer at 4

Pros: perfect precision size, retractable with a sheath , stays on pretty well by itself unless you have something oily come into contact.  It's so precise that I can fill in the sparse areas in seconds.  My brows look micro threaded to me.

Cons: Wish there was a neutral shade, 4 works but pulls very bold/warm.  A ash grey works so much better, it doesn't look so stark 

The tip can still break off, so I have to keep it pretty retracted

I was lured into this once I read it can be used for precision placement of cheek products.

Dior.  The black lipstick is gone 🥲, but the case was still available and they'll be other Dior addicts that can live there.  That Dior L"Or solllliiid got me.  It's got sizeable glitter in it, so be forewarned, but as I've said, I'm a cat .. So that's a plus for me.

Heard about Nopalera on Thirteen Lune.  Realized I should diversify things, and these were nearly half off.  Still available, I believe.  I thought I'd be Team Dulce, but I'm Team Bosque.  Bosque reminds me a lot of BROWN GIRL Jane Carnivale Eau de Parfum Travel Spray .34 oz / 10ml eau de parfum spray but grassy.  @Shosh85 this night be up your alley, since you put me onto Carnavale 😉

Dulce is more earthy, grassy than sweet

Fenty Buttah Drops in nutmeg and warm vanilla.  The nutmeg is very reminiscent of Philosophy's gingerbread man scrub.  I love that scent, but if that wasn't your vibe, this is not going to be your vibe either. 

I didn't smell the lip oil yet.  I'm saving that

Hope the Fenty hand mask works out for you @danielledanielle. It and a Touchland hand sanitizer will be this year's stocking stuffer for most folks on my stocking stuffer list.  Ahhhh, I wondered about the scent on the Fenty nutmeg - Philosophy gingerbread man makes for a festive holiday smell! Out of curiosity, which shade did you pick up in the Dior blush?

@danielledanielle  Thanks for the helpful Benefit detailer review! Sounds right up my alley, as long as I’m gentle with it. I need to swatch shade 5 and see if it’s closer to brown or black. I’m surprised Benefit didn’t release cool or neutral shades—not even a cool ashy taupe (which wouldn’t work for my skin tone and brow colors, but still). 

The more I see that new (er, returning) Rephr brush, the harder it is to resist buying it. 😅 Hope you enjoy it, the Dior blush, and everything else!

@lmaster it actually retains a bit of a lavender quality unlike so many blushes that just skew purely pink on me.
