@WinglessOne Wow, the Stars shade is stunning on you!  It's too bad that they're a bit drying and that the glitter transfers.  Not a deal-breaker because the effect is gorgeous but still...

Thanks @CookieGirl1 ! Yeah, the dryness isn’t bad enough to make me never wear these, though I won’t wear ‘em nearly as often as other lip formulas. For me, that’s true of liquid mattes in general, even the very rare ones I don’t find drying. I just don’t often wear liquid mattes. And I can see myself this winter finding pink glitter on my scarf and wondering where the heck it came from. 😂

Beautiful Dior choices @WinglessOne and how fun is that puzzle! 😂 That’s original! I haven’t tried a matte liquid lip from them yet tho I do have Masquerade coming soon to try. Good to know a gloss works over them. I worry about the dryness too. The eyeliner is such a nice formula! Love all these shades on you.

Thank you @Sunnysmom ! To narrow my cart, I had to decide between Masquerade and Sensation. I look forward to seeing your Masquerade swatch. Funny: I remember telling you I was passing on Chanel’s purple liquid matte, yet here I am with Dior’s. 🤦‍♀️ I couldn’t resist the shiny sparkly thing. 

The puzzle was a total surprise! Sometimes I forget Dior makes a lot more than cosmetics and fragrances. 🤣 I could swear Ulta once had a Dior GWP that was a deck of playing cards… in fact, I think I remember chatting about it with someone in theUlta GWPs thread. That’d be another interesting reward tier gift. (I collect pretty card decks.)

That’s a good giggle @WinglessOne . All the things…! Thank goodness no one holds me to the stuff I say I’m not going to buy! 🤣 Your Dior is a special one. Totally different. That’s your story…! 🥰 Ooh that would be so fun to get a deck of cards from them! Do you have the Hermes one? Sometimes they give them out too! I think I may have a set somewhere! If I come across one I should send it to you! I will def find you when I receive my order.

@Sunnysmom  Nope, I don’t have the Hermes cards. This reminds me that Hermes makes a $4000 pair of roller skates… a friend’s teenager showed me the product page and wanted me to help convince her parents to get them as her birthday gift. 😅 Because hey, her mom sometimes buys Hermes makeup and fragrance so naturally roller skates are in the same ballpark, right? 🤣 It’s not even so much the price tag that made me laugh, it’s the thought of a 14 year old kid browsing Hermes’s website to create her birthday wishlist. I mean, is Hermes popular among teens these days? (I don’t do TikTok so I genuinely have no idea.) I dunno, something about all that is hilarious to me. 

Anyway… my favorite deck of playing cards (that I own) is still my Steve Minty Anubis deck. I actually use all my cards, otherwise I’d just buy uncut card sheets and frame & hang ‘em. (Some collectors never even break the foil seal on their deck boxes, which is weird to me but whatever.) But sheesh, had I known the original Anubis deck would become a collector’s item, I’d have bought 2 decks and kept one unopened to sell later. 😂

That is insanity @WinglessOne !! I don’t do TikTok either but it’s wild what they’re learning on there apparently. Oh for the good old days when we dreamed of owning these brands once we got older and worked hard for them vs just getting them as a teen?! Waaah? Nuts I tell you. Kids these days. 🤣 I think I got the cards once during the holidays and they came with a small purchase even or just handed them out! Probably not anymore. 

I’ve not heard of yours- I’ll have to look up! Sounds fun. I love your idea to frame and hang too!

I'm dying at the kid logic.  There's a magic in it - one thing most be true, so this other thing is equally correct 😂😂

My nephew once tried to convince me to get a Maybach, because he knows I like relaxing, so he was like, "why not get a car you can lay back in?"

@Sunnysmom @danielledanielle  🤣 Now see, if you get a Maybach, you can lay back AND make one heck of a statement. It’s like a no-effort flex! 😂 The first time I ever saw a Maybach in the wild, I was waiting at a bus stop with 3 strangers when that car rolled up in front of us and sat at the light. After some spirited discussion, we decided the Maybach looks like a bedroom—nay, a boudior on wheels. The Maybach is what you ride in when you’re too sleepy to sit upright in your Rolls Royce. 

Kids always make the best if/then arguments. And really, if you stop and think about it, they start to make perfect sense. Who doesn’t wanna relax in their own rolling boudoir? Why not add fancy roller skates to cart to keep that one lipstick or fragrance company? We adults just don’t see things as clearly as kids do. 🤣

Hmm, I might have to start adding luxury cosmetics/fashion brand decks to my collection after all, if I can get ‘em as GWP.
