@CakesCakes great haul! I've tried the pore strips too - I do like how they work but they are deff expensive for how many you get. I only use them once in a while when I know i have something special coming up.
@Kim888 Yes! I think I will save them for a special occasion or really bad skin days.
I love your selections, @CakesCakes! Erborian is a great brand! I'm sorry the pore strips didn't work out for you, though.
@curlychiquita Thanks!! ๐ so far I like the CC cream. It feels weird not putting on a full coverage foundation though.
Great purchases!! @CakesCakes
Iโm curious about the Son & Park Beauty Water... somehow I randomly acquired their Beauty Filter Cream and love it! ๐
I dont feel like the pore strips are worth the money either. I like to use the Biore pore strips- just as effective and less than half the cost. ๐
@Shosh85 Thank you! You should try the beauty water! Itโs such an amazing toner and has so many uses-removing makeup, toning, refresh and hydrate, etc. It has truly helped control my oily t-zone and save my skin from very bad breakouts-and any breakouts at all!
I tried their beauty filter cream but unfortunately it didnโt work for my skin type. Iโm happy to hear you love it though!
My May Hauls!
Ulta:
The K-Beauty section at Ulta is my new favorite place! I can't wait until they expand it but for now I at least found the Leaders sheet masks I wanted. The UD All Nighter spray was a Gift with Purchase from the 2 Hi Fi Shine Glosses. Cannot live w/out my Mario Badescu facial sprays and looking forward to trying out the dermaplaners.
The Ordinary:
Finally FINALLY got the Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution after months of waiting for it to be available for purchase again! The Rose Hip Seed Oil will be a new addition to my regimen, and the other two are restocks (Vitamin C 30% in Silicone & Azelaic Acid 10%) for my brightening and redness-reducing routines.
Thanks so much @Kim888 ! These masks are a must-have for me. Although I have yet to try the other 2 kinds... firming and pore tightening. Have you tried any of those?
@sojess I've tried all of them once because I got one of those sets over the holidays! I liked the firming one - i'm not sure i felt the pore one did anything it just also felt hydrating.
Great skincare selections, @sojess!
Thank you @curlychiquita ๐ my goal this year was to focus on skincare (both face and body) and it's been awesome learning what's working for me and what's not.
@sojess Ooh nice haul!! Iโve heard so many great things about the Mario Badescu sprays. Which one is your favorite?
Also, during which skincare step do you use the Ordinary Vit. C and the Azaleic Acid?
I think my favorite of the 3 would have to be the one with Aloe, Cucumber and Green Tea @CakesCakes ๐ it's SO refreshing! I don't really purchase the lavender one but the rosewater one is nice too.
For the Vitamin C or the Azelaic Acid, I use it around mid-routine, after (watery) essences but before sheet masks. I follow the Soko Glam 10-Step Korean Skincare Routine and use these products (on separate days of course) on step 6: treatments.
Do you have a favorite facial spray? I'm always up to trying out new ones ๐
@sojess Thanks for the info. I donโt use a facial spray but have been eyeing the Mario Basdescu ones! ๐
@sojess Fantastic haul!! Iโve just started exploring The Ordinary brand and am liking it so far!! ๐
Ive heard a lot of people say they like that Egg Cream Mask! I have one sitting with the rest of my stash that I still need to try. ๐
Enjoy your purchases!! ๐ค
Thanks so much @Shosh85 ! I'm so glad you're liking The Ordinary, too! I honestly wouldn't have purchased the Egg Cream mask just because it might've been too heavy for my oily skin but I got one inside of a set. Used it and instant love LOL. Let me know how you like it once you've tried it ๐
Nice haul @sojess! Have you used the egg cream mask before ? Thought?
