Hey everyone! I don't know about you, but I cannot believe it is May already!?! That means warmer weather, pretty flowers, and .... a new haul thread! Hope you find your dupes without too much trouble @Lazybeautybeast. A no buy? Gives me anxiety just thinking about it 😓 I put myself on a lower buy/quality over quantity due to the size of my stash

I'm dealing with the same issue @sonnydee. I say no-buy but it is probably more of no-buy on specific items and a low buy if I need to fill gaps in my collection. I more so want to force myself to shop my stash or declutter before buying new products.

Kicking off May with the last of my sale purchase arriving. I finished my

first bottle of Olaplex and couldn’t resist ordering another, it’s been working really well for my long, somewhat thick and damaged hair. I also grabbed the Laneige Water sleeping mask, after going through two DS and loving them I figured it was time to take the plunge on a full size 😄

@bakeamuffin Great to see you back!!! I, too,  love the Laneige sleeping mask!!  I pretty much loved everything I've gotten from Laneige!! I have yet to try anything from Olaplex, but may have to give their products a try. Enjoy your goodies!😉

I've seen a lot of rave reviews for olaplex -  do you think it would be good for finer hair, or is this a heavier product?

Awe thanks @RachFace2921! 💕 To answer your question; my mom has aged, dry, thin hair and I gave her a few sample containers of Olaplex to try. She told me the next day at work everyone was approaching her to ask about her hair and try to touch it 😂 she loves how it makes her hair look and feel (nourished, stronger, softer, and much more manageable). I would definitely start out with using it once a week for 30-45 minutes and see how it works for you 😄 Some suggest over night but sleeping with damp hair can cause more damage.

Oh I hope you love your Olaplex when you get a chance to try it @Lazybeautybeast!! Try leaving it in for 30-60 minutes and see how that goes 😄 some do overnight but I personally feel like the damage caused by sleeping with wet/easily tangled and breakable hair outweighs the benefits of leaving it on overnight.

I also have a bottle of Olaplex that I haven't tried yet! @bakeamuffin Do you wash your hair first or do the treatment first and then wash? I feel like I've read conflicting directions on that.

@Shosh85 I was sceptical about it since it contains Dimethicone and my skin doesn’t typically like silicone based products (I break out) but my skin LOVES this stuff! Reduces redness around my nose and gives and all over soft/smooth feel and healthy glowy complexion. I highly recommend it!
