@faeriegirl  @WinglessOne @CookieGirl1 I'm going to try a different sharpener, because it broke again.  It sharpened kind of so so, but then if course, when I used it later, and it was at room temp, broke again.

@sister13, have you had better luck with yours?

Ooh, I haven’t sharpened mine yet but will try soon. It’s way soft, I’ve used it maybe 4x so if it needs sharpening after 4-5 uses, it’ll go quick. However it really stays so probably worth it, IF you can sharpen without breaking. I’ll test and let you know soon! It definitely lasts and needs some work to remove which I love. Well, the staying part not the work part. @danielledanielle

That's a bummer that it seems to break so easily, @danielledanielle .  I wonder if all of the shades are like that or if it's just that one or...

@danielledanielle  Aw crud. Which sharpener did you use, and can you try a different one? I’m surprised Fenty didn’t release their own sharpener with these liners. As much as I love my trusty NARS double sharpener, I find Pat McGrath’s gel liners do better in one of Pat’s sharpeners than the NARS one.

Was at an in store Fenty effect, chatting up a rep and I mentioned my pencil problem.  She told me they have a wax base and she used the liner that came with it.  I don't know if we will see it for sale, but I totally see it showing up as a direct site GWP 🤞🏽🤞🏽

@danielledanielle @WinglessOne  Just wanted to share that I was able to sharpen mine with the Anastasia Beverly Hills 3-in-1 Makeup Pencil Sharpener . When I'm sharpening the softer pencils, I am twisting, but pulling back/out ever so slightly. 

But, good to know that Fenty has a sharpener, too that's probably been tested with their liners. Keep me posted if you try that one out.

@danielledanielle  😮 ah-HA, so there is a sharpener made for these liners! Thanks for the info! Now I need to stalk Fenty’s site for that, since I’m pretty sure I’m buying a couple shades. Also, hope you enjoyed the Fenty event!

@WinglessOne , so I used the Nars on it while it was chilled.  Sharpened so so, you know how sometimes with a pencil the filling isn't flush against the wood? That's what happened.  I was hoping when I used it, I could dull the point before it broke.

I got rid of a lot of the Pat sharpeners 🤦🏽‍♀️, but I found one, so 🤞🏽🤞🏽

I have tried so many different types of kitchen towels, and none can match the drying ability and quick drying of the towels themselves (that's an awkward sentence!) of pure linen.

I bought some of these Belgian linen towels, made by Libeco, many years ago.  They were used so much they became threadbare, but still work.  So, I bit the bullet and ordered some more, online from Copper Strawberry.

It really makes sense, and saves money in the long run, to stick with what you know works.
