Please share all your hauls for the month of July! Big, Small, Justifiable, or Just Because!
Happy Birthday Month to all my fellow July babies!❤️
I got a few new items this month that I wanted to share!
I had 500 points to get 10$ off so I decided to try the glow recipe blueberry bounce cleanser in the mini size! Still hasn't delivered yet, so if anyone has used this before I'd love to hear if it's good or not.

I also decided to try the soft lit foundation by Fenty Beauty! Got it in the shade 120, and I really like it so far. It has a very natural glow but still evens the skin tone out nicely!
I got the benetint lip and cheek stain after seeing it many times. It is very pigmented and pretty! I can use more to give a darker stain or less to give a natural pink color.
I decided to try the charlotte tilbury liner and lipstick mini set in the shade pillowtalk! Unfortunately, I accidentally broke part of the lipstick, but it still is useable. It is a very pretty natural matte shade, and I will buy the full size when I run out of the lipstick and the liner.

Finally, I got the Mario Badescu facial spray with rosewater because I wanted to find a more affordable option to the tower 28 facial spray. It feels very refreshing and is a much better value for the product.
Great hauls, @lovelyswiftie!! Enjoy your goodies!!
Hope you enjoy your new goodies, @lovelyswiftie !
FYI, if you want a more affordable version of Tower 28 Beauty SOS Daily Rescue Facial Spray with Hypochlorous Acid 4 oz/ 120 mL, check Amazon or your local drugstore for other brands of hypochlorous acid sprays. Most cost considerably less than T28’s and have basically the same formula. I always buy the SkinSmart brand from Amazon, but there are other good brands out there. Your primary care doctor or local pharmacist might even be able to recommend one.
Thank you so much! I’ll look for a similar spray on Amazon @WinglessOne
You did some hauling! @lovelyswiftie Fenty's new foundation sounds really good. 😀 Have fun with all your new goodies!
So many nice new things @lovelyswiftie , love the Benetints as well! Thanks for your reviews on them all! 💞
@lovelyswiftie awesome haul! Those are some great products you chose! I also just picked up the new Fenty foundation (I think in the same shade too!), so I am glad to hear you are liking it. Enjoy all your new goodies!
Amazing haul! Those are some great products I have the rose water spray too! It’s wonderful! I once broke one of those lipsticks too sometimes what helps is using a small brush and applying it to the lips! The blueberry 🫐 product sounds so neat! I hope you enjoy everything ❤️ @lovelyswiftie
Thank you so much! I’ll try using the brush for the lipstick, good idea!
These are really June orders, but I’m just now getting around to photos and swatches.
Zoologist:
I’ve tried and worn several Zoologist fragrances (Tyrannosaurus Rex is still among my faves), but not these. Well wait, I have tried the original Macaque before and it’s discontinued. I might even still have a sample of that one, so maybe I’ll get to compare it directly to this Fuji Apple version.
If you order 8+ samples direct from Zoologist, they’ll discount ‘em 20% and you’ll get spray vials (instead of the daubers you’ll get when ordering samples from Lucky Scent and other fragrance retailers). And they added a free Chameleon sample, which I wasn’t expecting. Hooray for surprise GWP!
Fude Beauty:
Notes:
Tanseido KQ12 Eyeshadow - the short-bristle version of this brush (KQ12S) is one of my faves for concealer. Fude Beauty’s Tanseido sale finally pushed me over the edge of “maybe I should buy the full length bristle version, too.”
Both brushes are made of kolinsky hair, so they can handle any product thrown at ‘em. Tanseido doesn’t label their handles with brush numbers/names, which is kind of annoying. But they do let you pick among 3 handle colors (black, red, or blue) for most of their brushes.
Bisyodo G-B-01 Blender (Grand Series) - a squirrel hair blender that’s fluffy but focused, thanks to its shape and density. This brush should blend with precision. I love the look and feel of unlacquered wood handles; this one’s made of ebony. The wood grain is gorgeous in person.
Bisyodo B-ES-06 Eyeshadow (Long Series) - I didn’t need yet another kolinsky brush, but I wasn’t sure if the KQ12 would end up being too large to use in tight spaces. Obviously I had to include this backup plan in my order. 🙃 I’m glad I did, and I’m quickly becoming a Bisyodo fan. (I often use one of their other brushes to powder-set undereye concealer.) Their Short and Long series brushes have lacquered rosewood handles. Those and the gold plated ferrules make these brushes stand out in my collection. This particular shader brush should perform very well on my hooded eyes, and I’ll probably also use it for spot concealing.
Lisa Eldridge:
Swatches & notes:
Elevated Glow Highlighter shade Pink Moon - Lisa describes this shade as “ethereal, rosy luminescence,” and of course she’s right. Some part of me still rejects the idea that my main skin tone leans rosy, so I was surprised to see how this very light toned highlighter melded with the color(s) of my hand. Pink Moon’s even less sparkly than Solar Light, the other shade I have of Lisa’s highlighter.
Gloss Embrace Lip Gloss shade Blush - I’m afraid to count how many shades of this gloss I own now. 😅 I was on the fence about Blush for a long while (because it’s such a safe neutral shade, but also very pretty) and finally had a “just buy it already” moment.
Enhance and Define Lip Pencil shade Carnival - bought to replace my second too-dry Patrick Ta lip liner.
Alcone Company:
Swatches & notes:
Lemonhead LA Spacepaste Glitter Concentrate shades Debonair and Houdini Highlight - I’ve stalked the Spacepastes for a long time. These are glitters in a gel base. They need no additional glitter glue to stay in place wherever you put ‘em. My swatches were messy since I’m just now learning how best to apply and manipulate these. They have a fruity scent; hopefully that fragrance won’t irritate my eyelids.
Houdini Highlight is one of those “now you see it, now you don’t” ghostly purple things that’s not full coverage by design. Debonair is a scattered rainbow holo in a pitch black base that should be buildable to full coverage; I need to play with it more to get the hang of it.
Ben Nye - since the brand’s filed for chapter 11 bankruptcy (because they’ve had to defend themselves against an onslaught of talc lawsuits), I felt compelled to grab a couple things of theirs I haven’t tried before:
Cozzette Crystal Cream Shadow shades Spirit and Imperial - These aren’t really creams, they’re creamy powders. And okay yeah, Sprit looks similar to one of Pat McGrath’s single blue “special shades” (either Blitz Blue or Blitz Sapphire—probably the latter) and maybe even closer to Ultraviolet Blue from Pat’s Dark Star 006 kit, and since I have all 3 of those, I don’t really need Spirit. But it does have a bit of a violet shift I couldn’t catch on camera so you know, it’s kinda different from the other 3. IT’S DIFFERENT, OKAY? 😅 I might still do some comparison swatches later. Pat’s formula definitely feels better than Cozzette’s, but the latter’s not bad by any means. Shade Imperial is an olivey antique gold I also didn’t need, but I’m not upset about buying it.
Happy birthday month to @faeriegirl and all the other July babies! 🥳
Amazing hauls, @WinglessOne!! Those brushes!! Houdini Highlight!! I did think that blue shade was a PMG one just from the preview images, lol. Enjoy your goodies!!
Thank you @haleyvvvv ! I kept telling myself “that’s probably too close to one of Pat’s blues” as I added that blue shadow to cart and then checked out. 😅
It's definitely distinct for sure, @WinglessOne!! We need all of the shifts and formulas
