@CynthieLu I haven't used it prior to this and honestly--I'm not a fan.  It's kind of odd, really.  Because it has a gel consistency it's very thin and really doesn't provide much moisture but it also has menthol in it so not only does it have that classic menthol scent but I was a little taken aback the first couple of times that I used it on my legs because it has a cooling effect!  In theory it sounds nice, I guess, but I really didn't like it.

Ooh I know what you mean, I think it's supposed to have  caffeine in its as well. I like they idea of it but that does not sound very pleasant, especially at that price tag. @CookieGirl1

I know what you mean, gels and menthols are a whole different kind of moisturizing experience. @CookieGirl1 

I remember using this one, I have no memory of the brand thou, it was a body moisturizer. And the menthol was so intense that I just felt really wierd and really cold after I used it. 🤣

I recently decided to try to get into scented candles for the first time, and of course I have already collected quite a few 😅 in addition to the Nest votives I recently posted, here are some recent finds I'm excited to try:

HomeGoods (mostly) & a couple from TJ Maxx: 

The dark one is Black Coffee and it smells SO good! And I will definitely be keeping that cute strawberry jar after the candle is used up.

Glossier:

Love the packaging of these ones, and am curious to see which scent I like best of the 3.

HomeGoods again (different store this time though):

The one on the left is Grapefruit & Coriander.

Sweet Water Decor & one from CVS:

I will be repurposing the Scentworx cane jar after it's done - I'm going to decorate the jar and fill it with slips of paper with self care ideas written on them, so I can pull one out when I'm having a rough day.

And one non-candle item, from Natasha Denona direct (bc I had reward points for $ off):

Those scented candles look wonderful @caitbird I feel calm and relaxed looking at all these photos and picturing how nice and calming burning them will be. 💞 

I hafta say, ND's highlighter looks soo good. 🤩 That's going to be a lot of fun to play with I imagine. 

Your idea to fill the jar with ideas to help you on a rough day, I think that's genius. 👌

If I could add one for your jar it would be  Have a bath/shower and listen to music. 

or this grounding exercise

Smell a few scented candles and notice the smells. Touch some things with texture and focus on the different feels. Savour a taste, and then go for a short walk.
