@itsfi I've never tried the eye masks but after seeing so much raving about them, I've cleared out my Kohls with a BOPIS lol Hard to beat when you get 30% of a $2 mask lol I'm now dying to try them. What did you get from Sweed? I really enjoyed their mascara when I had it but haven't tried anything else.

Did you see the SEPHORA COLLECTION Caffeine Eye Mask Patches for Dark Circles + De-Puffing Blueberry ? it has caffeine as the 5th ingredient.

Excellent work on the eye masks @makeitup305; the sale was such a sweet deal on them! I’m interested to get your take.  I usually wear the masks on their own in the mornings but when I was using sheet masks more regularly, I would also wear them under a sheet mask, morning and/or night. 

I picked up one of those blueberry 🫐 eye masks during the sale; to test it against the caffeine ☕️ mask. @danielledanielle mentioned this was the one that seemed like it might be a replacement for the caffeine masks, so it seemed like I should compare them at some point. 🔬 Nice to know that caffeine is high up on the ingredients list. 👍🏼 Did you pick up a blueberry one as well?

Oh, you liked the Sweed mascara? That packaging with the cloud is really cute and eye catching. I passed on it because I have a lot of unopen mascara as it is and I wasn’t sure it was waterproof. I ended up getting the lash serum, the foundation, and a pinky nude eye pencil (for the waterline and possibly inner corners). I also picked up a sample of the loose powder from another site.

@itsfi I did pick up one of the blueberry eye masks last minute. I figured I'd compare it against the caffeine one light you said. I hope it's good! I picked up the Dieux eye masks so I might see how they wear under those? I tried the Dieux last night and I don't think my eye cream was thick enough for them. 

The Sweed mascara I tried I got from a Cult Beauty Advent. It had a really weird wand. I remember being surprised that it looked as good as it did considering the wand. Idk I like it as much as the Tower 28 mascara but I would consider it if I had a good deal on it.

Interesting about the Dieux mask @makeitup305; I wonder if a thicker eye cream would give you better results. That's good to know about the Sweed mascara. I'm on overload with mascaras - lots in the queue waiting to be opened so I'll work through those before picking up any more. I do have the Tower 28 that I've been meaning to try. That, the Gucci and the YSL waterproof Lash Clash are currently at the top of the list, just waiting for me to finish up or declutter which mascaras I'm rotating through at the moment. Let us know about the blueberry vs. caffeine eye masks. It'll be great to hear your thoughts on them.

@itsfi same here, let me know what you think when you compare them, since you have more experience with them. I know that Dieux makes an eye cream  Dieux Auracle Peptide & Antioxidant Smooth + Depuff Eye Serum 0.68 oz . That one is a gel so maybe that goes better? I might try putting on a thicker layer today and see. I feel like the pads stuck to my undereyes last night, which is great because they're not sliding around, but they tugged on my skin a little.

Oh, ouch @makeitup305,! Tugging on your skin doesn’t sound great at any time, but especially first thing in the morning. 😣 Will be interested to see if you find an eye cream + Dieux gel patch combo that will work well for you.

@itsfi I've been trying them at night. I put them on last night with a thicker layer and it was better but I actually wet them a little and then put them on and liked that the best.

Ahhh, glad you found a way to make them work @makeitup305. Do you like them enough that you would gift the

 to someone or if you lost them?

@itsfi not really. I might get a sample of the Dieux eye gel and see how I feel about it or spray my face with a mist before I put them on but it seems like too many hoops to go through. I think they’re too expensive for what they are but I haven’t compared them to similar ones. I know there’s a dupe on Amazon and Skin Gym also makes some. It’s just a silicone patch after all. I’m going to keep testing them but so far I wouldn’t recommend them. The one pro is that compared to the eye gels (like the Korean ones that come a bunch in a pot) these don’t slide around at all.

@itsfi  Yay Marian! You’re the best! Wow! 🤩 the haul of all hauls here. So many Goat products!! Great time to restock them for sure! That cleansing foam looks interesting I have not tried it yet! I may need to try it. I absolutely love that you got all the eye masks! I picked up 6 and I was like I better calm down. I need to step up my game so I can be iconic as you are!

Hahahaha @ather. If iconic = hoarder, then that's me! 🤣 Oh my goodness - they scan every eye mask separately at the cash register. She printed out the receipt and the machine spewed out this very loooooooong piece of paper. So embarrasing. And satisfying at the same time! 😜 

Cleansers and mists are being should be need to be added to the "no buy" list for the upcoming "no / low buy" season. I'm getting better with paring down my skincare to products that I know work well for me. I still pick up new items (it's hard to resist sometimes) but am making a much more concentrated effort to stick with what I know works for my skin and being better minded about how many new things I try or introduce to my routine.

@itsfi  I agree! I’ve been doing the same and making sure not to bring in multiple things if I have a backup already. Also I’m being more mindful not to buy a backup if it’s not a GOAT. Hard to do but I feel like with my sale hauls I did very good! I have been sorting through my makeup and putting things that are old and I don’t use on my chopping block. I would love a more minimalist version of makeup/skincare!

@ather, that’s awesome! Yeah, it’s really easy to get caught up on new releases, especially as there have been so many (soooo many) great ones in categories that I already have a certain weakness for (hello, skincare and lip oils) as well as ones that I’ve been deepening my interest in.  

Do you have an ideal minimalist makeup and skincare collection in mind that you’re working towards? Be it a number of products or something else? Or, is the target just less?

@itsfi  I haven’t quite ironed all the wrinkles but I think my goal is to keep 1-2 products in each category open at a time. I tend to just be wild and open multiple products at a time and I like one and will just use it so my goal is to get that part under control more. Mostly with my skincare. I’ve also been trying to use foils so that also is mixed into it too. Makeup is another story. But I still want to keep my mascaras down to a few and not so many. I also think my no buy will help since I am not allowed any purchases until the fall sale. Unless I have finished a bottle and have no backup! Hopefully I can follow this!

Oh, those are wonderful goals @ather! I feel like it's a work-in-progress for me, working towards a more streamlined collection. I have friends and relatives who could be the poster children for minimalism when it comes to makeup, skincare, hair care, etc. Me, I cast my net out wide and have been working on making that net a lot narrower and paring down what I have to what works best for me. All while trying out new formulations, etc. but in a more methodical and deliberate way and not getting everything at once. Some days are better than others, that's for sure. 

I have confidence that you will do very well with your goals and with your no buy. You got this! 👊

Yes, we do!!! Completely went above and beyond @missjeanie . When she walked back with a handful of the masks, my eyes went wide!! After the "oh my gosh, thank you so much," I made sure to get her name so I could be sure to sing her praises a la the survey!! 

Oh yes, Sweed. They first landed on my radar when I spied their loose powder - we all know I need one (nope). Then I noticed that they had a prostaglandin-free lash serum and that caught my eye 😉. The other items, the glass skin foundation and the eye brightening pencil came along for the ride. lol I will say that I got distracted with some things and forgot I had ordered from the brand. When I received a notice that I had a package from Denmark, my first thought was a self-judging "ruh-roh, what did you do?!" I saw in a few posts below that @Mellmars1185 picked up some lashes from them?

There will be a lot of attention turned to my stash in the coming months - shopping the newness as well as the tried-and-true beauties, and, of course, the good stuff ... as well as the "oh, what's this?!" 🤣
