The Sephora Savings Event starts ... soon!!! And, I'm not ready. I mean, I have my restocks lined up and a general idea of what new beauties I'd like to pick up, but these sales events, and this one in particular, has a way of bringing home more treats that I planned. Let's see if this is the year I stick with what's in my cart (I'm not a betting person but even I wouldn't wager on me sticking with just what's on my list / in my cart 🤣).
Restocks:
- EADEM Milk Marvel Dark Spot Serum with Niacinamide and Vitamin C 1 oz/ 30 mL because it works for reducing and fading away my dark spots. Makes a noticeable difference. Debating between just restocking the serum OR going for EADEM Bare-Skin Confidence Brightening Trio With Niacinamide and Vitamin C
- Tatcha The Indigo Cleansing Balm Moisturizing Makeup Remover 1.9 oz / 54 g - I don't always pick up skincare products when they are first released, instead opting to try a sample first, but that approach went by the wayside when it came to this beauty. It's one of the few skincare beauties I picked up the day it released and I don't regret that decision at all.
- Touchland Power Mist Hydrating Hand Sanitizer Velvet Peach and Touchland Power Mist Hydrating Hand Sanitizer Blue Sandalwood because they're great! It's cold and flu season too so I will be spritzing my hands and those of any others around me who might be interested in some hand sanitizer. 😂🤣😂
- Gucci Brume de Beauté Beauty Mist 2.7 oz / 80 mL has been part of my daily routine since I picked it up while in NYC for Sephoria (big thank you to Maria at Sephora 34th Street for this rec!) I like using it both as a mid-day refresher (for my makeup as well as my sanity) and as part of my makeup routine - either spritzing my makeup sponge with it or using it after doing my makeup.
New-to-me treats:
- Virtue COLORKICK® Color-Illuminating & Hydrating Mask for All Hair Shades 5 oz / 150 ml - the Virtue ColorKick® Debrassing Blue - Purple Shampoo 8 oz/ 240 mL has been a hit for me, so next comes the mask!
- Gucci Long Lasting Bold Lip Liner - this is all @heartsmyface's fault. It looks great on her and she gives it kudos so here goes! Let's see if I can keep to just one this sale.
- Foundation - as part of the Ready, Set, Sephora Challenge (runs through 12/22/2023), I went in store to get color matched and came away with 3 different foundation samples. I've enjoyed each of the samples I received, but am leaning towards either the Givenchy Prisme Libre Skin-Caring Glow Foundation or the Gucci 24 Hour Full Coverage Luminous Matte Finish Foundation 275C (which is ever so slightly on the cooler side for me and probably a better match when winter rolls around)
Maybes:
- Gucci 3 Piece Glow & Care Shine Lipstick Festive Gift Set - this would look lovely under my Christmas tree (errr, once it's put up). Now that I've said that, this is like a which came first, the chicken or the egg scenario - do I put the tree up now and get the gift set to put underneath it? Or do I get the gift set now to have for putting under the tree once it goes up. We all know I'm not waiting for Christmas to open up this set if I do pick it up, right?! 🤣
- Love the YSL Candy Glaze lip glosses and Yves Saint Laurent Candy Glaze Lip Gloss Stick 11 Red Thrill sounds like it would be great for the holidays. A haul that would be enabled by @furbie; I need to find some time to go in store to swatch this shade.
- I've seen @melissapurple22 using Nudestix in the Gallery section of the Community and she looks great. It's made me think I need to give some of them a try, maybe NUDESTIX Mini NUDIES Roses 'N Honey Nudes 3pc Kit
Will be back another day to post about my wish list for items from the Sephora Collection (yeah 30% off) and for big ticket items that at the moment are on my "in my dreams" wish list. 😍
