TooFaced and Tarte have fun palettes that have eyeshadows and usually face colors. I got one for a 15 year old in the Pineapple of My Eye plus a pineapple lash curler. That one may be a little over priced for you, but they have a fun Christmas tree one and a chocolate bar palette.
