Sephoria NYC 2023

Now that the word is officially out….who will be attending Sephoria NYC 2023 on September 29-30, 2023?

I won’t be able to attend in person this year (I plan to attend virtually) but I know other members who are already planning and going.  If I had to choose a session it would be session 3 with Patrick Ta and Natasha Denona. 

Please share your excitement and even photos and experience here if you do go.

@CookieGirl1 Meeting everyone from BIC was absolutely the highlight.  I'm committed to going forever now so I can eventually meet everyone!

@SportyGirly125 I was lucky to be staying at the same hotel as some of the others.  It made it so easy to meet up and spend time together!  An experience to remember for sure!

Love, love, looooooved meeting you and your SO and the many adventures we had all over NYC over just a few days! Thrilled you were able to go to the speakeasy; that's on my list for next time, and, of course, it's tea and coffee. I mean, why else does one go to a speakeasy?!!

Ah, the memories your pics are bringing back! So happy you were able to check so many things off your list. Those are some of the nicest lines I've seen! 😉 Your Sephoria post card is the best! The. Best.

@itsfi It was so nice to get to meet everyone!  Going through photos last night brought it all back!  It feel like yesterday but it also feels like I need to go back asap!  We had planned to go to the speakeasy but time had just gotten away from us and we were both tired so we decided to skip it.  When he mentioned that he'd really wanted to go when we were already in bed, it was just such a 'screw it' moment... we're in NYC, and lets forget the tired and just go!  So glad we went.  No signage, questionable basement tunnel entrance, and the entire thing was fabulous!  Totally worth the extra tired!

Well. I am so behind in posting about SEPHORiA, but I goes that’s life when you’re trying to catch up after being away! Well there were a million highs and a few lows but overall it turned out to be amazing! And, one of the biggest highlights, aside from the obvious of meeting my online besties (again and some for the first time!), was meeting Danessa Myricks. Y’all know I’ve been a fan and started the The Danessa Myricks Beauty Thread  a while ago to celebrate and share news from her brand. She’s genuinely amazing and sweet!

Her booth was incredible. I love that she was giving away full size items, that she personally did photos/met attendees in her booth, (except when she was in her masterclass), and she had lovely tote bags and gift items for us. An amazing human!! I’m realizing I was so excited I didn’t get overall pics of her booth, but that’s okay. Their shirts were awesome! 

She had a spin wheel at her booth which had full size items you could win, and one slot was a year on Danessa’s PR list!! I can’t believe it but in the afternoon session, I spun the wheel and LANDED ON THAT ONE! I was shaking, I forgot to take a picture or anything! They have already contacted us and will start being on the list in 2024! They said they have some exciting launches coming up, so I’m over the moon ecstatic about winning this!

I was able to meet Danessa and I gave her my little notecards that I made for some of my favorite brands. I told her about this thread but she probably has no idea what I was talking about, lol.

I also got to go to her masterclass and she gave another of her preview single shades for the I AM Lightwork V palette. She gave this cute little compacts/mixing palette and then the other items were from the booth when I won the chrome flakes and the PR list, they threw a few more items in my bag.

Here were all the Danessa things I got at the conference, along with an awesome sample card with 4 of the Colorfix shades, and a holographic tote bag that is amazing!

Anyway, I’ll try to share more in the days and weeks ahead of all the other amazing experiences, friends, and brands at SEPHORiA!
