Urban Decay Naked Smokey Pallet

I want to get the pallet before it is discontinued but I need opinions on it first!!

I thought it was a great deal at half off. It has shades for an everyday look, but I may not have bought it at full price since I don't want to wear the darker shades frequently.

and also @Titian06 has a great point about the grey tones being a staple that you don't find in palettes too much these days since lately it's been all about the colors

Hi, @KatieLynne214 - I have the UD Naked Smoky palette.  I love having a palette with a lot of greys.  I never planned to purchase this palette, but when I saw it on sale for half price a year or so ago, I couldn't resist.  I wear the palette once a week and I do wear it to work.  I have never worn or even attempted a smoky eye.  It works great for me; I'm happy with my purchase.

When Urban Decay ANYTHING goes on sale, you buy it! I love mine. I find myself reaching for it almost everyday. it blends very well and you can create a lot of looks with just 1 pallet.

I def just got it, because it's on sale lol, but it's nice. I'm a makeupartist at Macy's and it does have a good variety of shades. I'm a nc45at mac, so I'm medium/golden brown. I feel it has the necessary shades to smoke out the eye without being too difficult. I do wish there were a little more warner shades, but that's just me. I feel it would be great on anyone. It is a very nice palette and would totally be worth it if you are into smokey eye looks. If you aren't really big on smokey eyes, then I would really think it through as you wouldn't be using it as much. I don't own the palette but I think it's very nice! If you're into the smokey eye then it would be worth buying!

I bought it when it was half off earlier this year and have only really used it twice. I definitely agree that is it's a good palette but fairly dark and mostly for occasions

Agreed.  I bought it when it was originally released, but I have probably only used it two or three times.  The colors are nice, they blend well, but I so rarely wear a smokey eye that I think I really just got it to have the palette collection.  Certainly not a day to day palette for me.

It is definitely an "occasion" pallet if that makes sense? Meaning I def don't wear it everyday but love using it for special occasions. I'm sure there are people out there who can pull off a smoky eye at work but as a social worker I tend to go pretty conservative with my make up mon-fri but come the weekend I love playing with it! I think for the half price right now it is worth the investment IF you like dark colors. The colors are all gorgeous but very deep. The brush that comes with it is good. Some of the colors mix well with other pallets I have but some are really only for smoky eyes. Hope this helps with your decision!

If you collect the palettes I say go for it. Otherwise its not the worlds best palette. There are other that work just as well for cheaper and have a better color range. These all blend into what seems to be one shade
