Too Faced Shadows - Peanut Butter & Jelly vs Chocolate Bar

Hi guys,

So I always hear Too Faced makes some of the best eyeshadows on the market. I've considered buying one of the Chocolate Bar palettes or the Sweet Peach palettes, yet I already own so many neutral palettes and the Sweet Peach got pretty bad reviews. I saw on the Too Faced website that you can still buy the Peanut Butter & Jelly palette and I'm considering getting that one instead - are the shadows in it as good as the Chocolate Bar ones? Can someone compare?

Hi @alexvtol. I have all four and have no issues with any. I'm wondering if you're referring to the initial release of Sweet Peach where there were some batches better than others, but people tend to like it pretty well now. Which neutral palettes do you currently own? If you're looking for something small and easy, PB&J should suit you just fine. It's more warm toned though, so if you're looking for something with cooler tones, the Original Chocolate Bar will be a better option. It's really up to you though! I think you'll be happy with any of the four.

Which one would you say is your favourite? Is the quality of the pb&j one as good as the others? Also, I just heard the darker peach shades aren't that great or pigmented, did you notice that as well? @alexasteph

@alexvtol I don't experience any pigmentation issues with either. Here are some finger grabs of the darker shades from the pan...

If I needed to choose two, I'd probably go with Chocolate Bar and Sweet Peach. With Chocolate Bar being what I go to the most often. It's one of my more used palettes in my collection regardless. If you're choosing between PB&J or Sweet Peach, it just comes down to do you want a larger palette or a smaller one. Sweet Peach has shades that are pretty similar to PB&J, in addition to some more shades.
