Any tips on creating a cut crease?

I feel like I have weird shaped eyes, like they're wide but not a lot of space. Every time I try to create a cut crease it just does NOT come out how I imagined. Any tips on how to create a cut sepcific to your eye shape?

@ABOE

I love the colors you chose!  They look amazing on you(:

One thing you could work on is blending.  Right now, I can see exactly where each color stops.  Try using a blending brush to blend them together to create a beautiful, seamless look.

Keep practicing, you're doing great!

Any tips on creating a cut crease?

Hey! I love the colors you chose, what pallete did you use? The way I like to do cut creases is to apply the the eyeshadow to my crease and blend slightly, keeping it only in the crease area. It helps to use a compact brush when applying the crease shadow because fluffy brushes can flick eyeshadow in places you don't want it. Then I get a slightly larger, fluffy brush and apply the transition color. When applying the transition color I go right above the blended crease and blend upwards towards the brow. Then you're finished blending. I learned a life hack a while back on how to create the perfect cut crease. What you do is apply concealer to an angled brush and swipe it across your lower lid. While it is still wet, keep your head still, looking straight forward, and roll your eyes, looking up towards the ceiling. This will show how high the crease should go. You'll then be left with a messy uneven line of concealer on the lid. Once you have that, smooth it out and round it by connecting the uneven line with the angled brush and concealer. The reason this works is because if you make the crease to low, the eyeshadow from the crease will transfer on the lid. Doing the technique with the eye rolling will create a perfect section of how high you have to make the lid to where it won't transfer the different eyeshadow shades. Once you have the eye lid shape that you want you can apply the lid shadow. I use a rounded flat compact brush to apply lid shadow because it creates a clean crease.

Hey Love, OMG thank for these instructions! I try to use...

Hey Love, OMG thank for these instructions! I try to use the method of applying the concealer and looking up and then I feel like the crease is too big, covering my whole lid almost and I look like a clown.... I guess I'll keep practicing. I used the makeup revolution patricia bright palette for this look.

Yeah, I understand what you mean by the crease coming out...

Yeah, I understand what you mean by the crease coming out too big sometimes.. I don't know if it'd work but you can try making the crease slightly smaller and setting it with spray right after. That might keep it from transferring 🙂
