Have a deeper hue and want to know how a product might look on your skin tone?  This is the place for you!

Several ladies expressed interest in having a BIC group dedicated to WOC.  Such a group would serve as a central reference point for swatches, color matching and the like, which can often be difficult to find.  While I have no idea whether such a group will ever be created I figured it would be nice to at least have a thread.

It should go without saying, but  **Ladies (and gents) of all hues are more than welcome **

Finally, all the Armani Beauty Luminous Silk Creamy Bronzing Powder were out to play, left to right 120, 110, 100, 90.  I did swatch 90 & 100 last week and they didn't show up on me at all 🥲, I think these were fairly fresh testers.  @WinglessOne

@CynthieLu (?), I think you were curious about the staining power of the Kulfi Lassi Lips Staining Long-Lasting Moisturizing Lip Oil .  They didn't stain my arm very well, like I can wipe them off easily with a tissue.  They are very pretty, feel glossy and thick, so maybe a little tack, but not ultra sticky.  Top to bottom, Tamarind, Caramel, Rose, First Sari.

PAT McGRATH LABS Divine Cream Blush: Legendary Glow Color Balm  it's Forbidden Flyer, Luscious Lotus and Electric Blooom.  And at the bottom GXVE BY GWEN STEFANI Dewyplump Collagen Lip Gel in Nightshade and GXVE BY GWEN STEFANI Dewyplump Collagen Boosting Cheek Tint Marigolds blended out

@danielledanielle  Thanks for the Armani swatches! I still love the undertone of 120 but also, 110’s undertone doesn’t look nearly as yellow orange in your photos as I thought it might. That shade looks like it might even neutralize some of the hyperpigmentation at my temples while also warming it up. Gonna check my locals for testers to play with. Meanwhile, I’ll keep 110 in mind next time I snag a Rouge Reward. 

The Kulfi lip oils look pretty, as do Pat’s blush sticks. 👍

@danielledanielle thank you for these!! PNUT Butter and Satin Panty are definitely on my wish list now!! I’m still on the fence about Riri. I loved how it looked in indoor lighting but the outdoor lighting is making me rethink if it’s too mauve/purple for me😪

@cianni , do mauves pull purple for you on your lips?  When I swatched Riri, it pulled more pink for me on my lips vs swatch..  Usually something that matches my bottom lip exactly (top lip is brown, bottom is pink) gives me "concealer lips" or overblown Barbie doll lips, but it looks like a fresh, dewy pink, so I suspect it has some cool tones to it.

@danielledanielle Mauves definitely pull purple on me. But almost in a gray way, I find a lot of mauves wash me out/give me a bit of a corpse look

The lip liners? @peculiarzmakeup   I only have two (at the moment), so it's an even toss up as far as who I like the most ( Fenty Beauty by Rihanna Trace'd Out Longwear Waterproof Pencil Lip Liner RIRI  and Fenty Beauty by Rihanna Trace'd Out Longwear Waterproof Pencil Lip Liner Coal Blooded .  I really want Fenty Beauty by Rihanna Trace'd Out Longwear Waterproof Pencil Lip Liner MVP , but it was OOS'ED.

The smoothness of this liner is pretty nice, but it's super soft upon application, so my liner broke twice.  That I didn't love.  Once it on, it stays pretty well.

The eye pencils DO NOT BUDGE.  I swiped my arm four times.  No smudging, Nars came to play and stay! (Mambo was blended out on the right after application)

I swatched nearly the entire Fenty Line up.  One blush light was missing.

They have a peach, gold shift.  It reminds me of one of the older sephora highlighters or Nars orgasm or Patrick Ta She's Adorable .  They are really pretty, but not a must, given the peach gold shift exists in so many other products.

R/T lip oils...Obvs, didn't put it on my lips, but I like the feel of the lip oils.  They feel more gloss like, but it didn't feel sticky on my arm

And do a "same shade, different hue" post 😂 Viva las vegas is bottom left for me and it's much pinkier on me? I personally like yours better.. it reminds me of the Urban Decay Vice Hydrating Lipstick 1993 ... which reminds me.. I have this somewhere. Gotta dig it out..

Yesterday was a pure swatch day only, so no purchases.  TBH, I was more interested in NARS Powermatte High-Intensity Long-Lasting Lip Pencil Midnight Rider - 195 , but now that I've swatched it, it's a pass.  If something's too pinky-mauvy, it gives me this weird overblown lip effect.

I agree. Color theory IS very interesting. It looks so different even when just skin tone is different 😶

@danielledanielle  Good to know NARS’s new shadow sticks are budgeproof. I still have a few of their old shadow sticks (which I should declutter soon) and the new ones sound like a big improvement. I hope to see some fun shimmery or metallic shades soon.
