*new group located here: Deeper Shades
Have a deeper hue and want to know how a product might look on your skin tone? This is the place for you!

Several ladies expressed interest in having a BIC group dedicated to WOC. Such a group would serve as a central reference point for swatches, color matching and the like, which can often be difficult to find. While I have no idea whether such a group will ever be created I figured it would be nice to at least have a thread.
It should go without saying, but **Ladies (and gents) of all hues are more than welcome **
💋💋💋
@HazelEyedQueen Thanks for the swatches!!! I've heard EXCELLENT things about beauty bakerie. Love that it's WOC owned and natural/organic. Wish they had more wild colors, though. LOL!
Coloured Raine eyeshadow palette swatches. 1. Beauty Rust 2. Smoke Show 3. Berry Cute 4. Lovelies 5. Queen of Hearts 6. Cheers to Beauty These palettes are rich, buttery, and blend so well. The last picture is an eye look created with Cheers to Beauty and Berry Cute. **She also makes very beautiful and very pigmented lip products. Imagine a place that carries nude lips for everyone! --------------
Ohhhhhh thanks for these swatches @HazelEyedQueen !!! I've been eyeballing their QoH palette for ages and drill haven't snagged it yet. With as pigmented as each of the shades you swatched are I need to stop dragging my feet & get some Coloured Raine in my life.
Also the look you posted is magical & should be shown off in the magical thread too!!!
@HazelEyedQueen That look is phenomenal on you 😍😍😍
I have to admit I'm so smitten with these palettes now that right after I saw your post I was looking at the website last night at 11:45, debating with myself about buying Cheers to the Beauty before the Easter sale ended at 11:59. They're really gorgeous!
OK, ever since Soft Glam came out I've been dreaming about it and wanting it really bad. The worst part about it is that I'm on a no buy (makeup) goal this year. So, some BICs recommended I go into the store to swatch it to see if it's something that I'd even like. I'm glad I did, as I'm no longer wanting it as badly and I think I can hold out on buying it until next year as it's part of the permanent collection.
Here's a pic with some swatches. I didn't do a great job at swatching (also lighting is not great) and I didn't swatch all of the colors. I mainly swatched the colors that are not part of MR.
On me, Glistening and Fairy look very similar. Dusty Rose (far left, bottom row) on me comes off a little red. They are truly like butter, really good quality. Although after swatching ViseArt's Mynx Theory II, that formula I think beats this one (my friend bought it, so I'm going to have to ask her how she likes it).
Top Row (from left to right): Noir, Glistening, Bronze, Sultry, Rose Pink
Bottom Row (from left to right): Dusty Rose, Fairy, Burnt Orange (looks different from MR), Sienna, Rustic, Mulberry, Orange Soda (you can barely notice it on my skin tone).
I didn't swatch Tempera but it does look different than the one from MR.
Thanks for sharing @b3autygrl ! It's a lovely palette but you may be able to duplicate with singles/other shadows within your collection. Also, they manage to put MR on sale for a period of time, I would not be surprised if they did it with this one too.
I agree, I do have some similar colors in my collection that can create duplicate looks. At least I'm no longer feeling the urge to go out and buy it anymore. Thanks for the support!
ABH made a bit of a thing out of how this is supposed to be a great bridal palette, so I wonder whether it might go on sale sometime in May, before wedding season really gets rolling.
@HazelEyedQueen Please! I would love to steer more of my dollars accordingly 💸
Yes yes please share @HazelEyedQueen
Great point @mermadelove ; a great work around is to change the ".com" in the website to "[DOT] com" 😉 (for example: sephora.com vs. sephora[DOT]com)
Yes you can! You just can’t post links to nonsephora sites. 🙂
