Whenever I get a survey email, it always program improvements are coming…

Hi, I’m a Sephora Credit Card holder and a VIB member and I just wanted to put in my two cents.

 

first of all, I got a new iPad mini for Christmas and I love doing so many things on it versus the small screen on my phone. I hope I’m not the only one that thinks this, but why in the world hasn’t Sephora come out with an iPad app? It’s so much easier to see items, read the descriptions read the reviews comparing contrast, so so so many things in just the shopping realm. I know Sephora is a business like every other business and they want everyone to spend money so wouldn’t it be easier to spend money on a bigger screen for those of us who do not own a computer? Yes, I know right now I’m talking to you from the website on my iPad, but it is so wonky. I just treated in my laptop a few months ago because I just was not using it and I put the trade-in value towards this iPad and it was one of the best things I’ve ever done. This is basically like a little computer to me, but it’s something that I actually use every single day. And as someone who loves shopping at Sephora and other places as well. To me it sounds like a no-brainer that Sephora could really benefit by creating an app for the iPad.

 

Secondly, whenever I do a survey for the Sephora Credit Card most of the time they talk about improvements coming for us and asking us to rate ideas like rollover status, special credit card reward bazaar items, and so much more. I have been doing these emails for as long as I can remember and NOTHING has ever come to be of all the ideas.

 

Also, yes I know Rouge members are top tier, and they deserve exclusives. But does anyone remember the days where by just being VIB you felt so much more special like an exclusive phone number for both VIB/Rouge members, rewards that included both tiers, free makeovers and so many little things. I choose like so many to spend $350 AT LEAST for many of us much more and it feels like to me the benefits are so much less. Honestly, this year I have spent too much which is MY FAULT and with so many of the brands we know having better sales throughout the year, etc I am really going to be mindful of what I spend and will be doing no buys etc. 

 

I know this is just my opinion but I wanted to hear other thoughts too! Happy holidays to everyone here,  I received so much help and guidance from so many here and I am so thankful and grateful for all of you.

@AmyC I'm sorry to hear that you have had trouble using our site on your iPad. While  I'm not aware of plans for a dedicated app, I will share this with the appropriate department for future consideration. I'm sorry to hear that you feel that VIB has lost value over the years, and I will share this feedback with our rewards team.
