Sephora app won’t let me log in from Canada.

When I open the Sephora app it says it does not support a Canadian shopping experience. I’ve been using the app for years and my husband can log in to the app from his phone but it won’t work on mine.

For those still looking for help.
 
I asked IT individual from work about this (since Sephora’s IT simply states to reset password … sigh). 




What they recommended worked. 




1. Delete app
2. Restart phone/device
3. Clear all browser(S) cache
4. Restart phone/device
5. Go to Sephora’s web version and do a password reset
6. Login to web version with new pw 
7. Reinstall app
8. Login to app with new pw

Has anyone in this thread found any resolution to this?  Or is this what we should expect going forward (no app use)?

Mine doesn't work either and hasn't for a long time. I am however saving a ton of money with this app not working, so I haven't really complained about it until now! Lol.

 

Seriously though...for many years I have started my mornings off by opening the Sephora App and perusing the new stuff that has dropped, what the samples are, what the rewards are, what offers are new etc, etc. 

 

Sephora you need to fix this app and quick. You are losing so much money from this app not working. It is so inconvenient to go on your computer or tablet to use this app, that I barely ever bother anymore. I am someone who used to order stuff at least twice a week, just for the heck of it. 

 

Now the only time I go online to order stuff is when I actually run out of something. 

 

Before I read up on every new product and when I walk into a Sephora, you know I know more about these products than the staff do. 

 

Now I actually am looking at makeup in a different light, and realize I don't need all of these new products etc, all the time. It's a waste of my money. 

 

Do you want all of us to feel this way?

 

No?

 

Then fix the freaking app, please!!

I'm sorry about this! Can you please try uninstalling and reinstalling the app, as well as ensure your device is fully updated? If the issue persists afterwards please let us know.

Thanks for the reply!  Ugh, I hope this isn’t going to be another app that no longer works for iPad.  I don’t have a mobile phone, but my iPad has cellular connectivity.  There are several apps I used to be able to use that, after an update on their end, no longer work for iPad.  Really hoping that isn’t the case with Sephora!  I did just install the app on my husband’s phone and it is working no problem, so I suspect the latest Sephora update didn’t factor in iPad users anymore.

thanks for this. I’ll try my phone. But don’t use my phone for browsing, just my iPad. I also hope it works.

I’ve deleted the app twice and it still won’t let me open the app in Canada.
