Sample Sadness

Hi! I've been a loyal Sephora customer for ten years now. And my last two orders have been so frustrating. The idea of choosing nice samples is now one of the main reasons I choose Sephora over other retailers! I used to get the right samples (at LEAST 2/3 correct in each order if not all 3.) Today I was so excited to receive my order and try new samples....but instead I have some granny perfume, and two dark makeup samples. What am I supposed to do with foundationthat is like 5 shades darker?!

 

And I can see the samples I chose are still in stock. Whyyyyyyyyy?! :' (

I'm so sorry to hear you did not receive the samples you chose in your recent order! Our website does call out that substitutions will be sent when the selected samples go out of stock and we appreciate your understanding. Sometimes the site does not always update the sample selection once certain samples go out of stock, which is why the sample you chose may still be visible. I apologize for the inconvenience caused and I'll be sure to pass along your feedback to our Distribution Centers so we can continue to improve our service. Thank you!

....I saw numerous other people got a "private message" in reply to their complaints about this same issue so I am a little curious about what that was about. Feeling a little undervalued over here. @ZannaBT
