Over 2000 points lost

I lost over 2000 points. I was pregnant and had a baby in a pandemic. When I came back to purchase and use up some points all were gone. I will definitely be looking at other places to shop at instead. Sephora you need to reevaluate how to maintain consumer relations.

I also lost over 2,500+ points accumulated over the years as a loyal shopper and even hit Rouge status until I had my baby. Due to my child's medical condition, I did not have any time to put on decent clothes, let alone makeup for quite some time.

 

So fast fwd and working as a nurse, the pandemic hit, PPE's were scarce, money was tight, masks were constantly worn, who had time or money to wear makeup that nobody could even notice with protective gear on?

 

Then just recently, I finally felt safe to shop in-person at Sephora, only to find that I don't have a single point in my account. Now to come to think of it, I had so many Sephora giftcards saved up through the years given by family & friends, and when I tried to use half of them, the balances were down to zero. The representative kept them and offered to discard them for me. Soooo if they can easily delete our hard-earned points as they see fit, did some of my older, unused Sephora giftcards had their balances wiped down to zero as well? I didn't question it back then because I loved & trusted Sephora but I should have held onto those zero-balance GC's and verified it with my friends/family's receipts.

 

Talk about kicking us down even further when times are already rough. All my friends were shocked that we all felt the need to boycott shopping at Sephora. We were given the run around to call their 1-800-SEPHORA number whenever we asked a representative in-store. So we have to go on our phones, wait for an hour, and work extra hard on points that should have been ours to begin with, only to ask & explain why we deserve to get our points reinstated.

 

Anyway, thanks for your FRONTLINE SERVICE in the Beauty Industry and making it hard to see the point in shopping at SEPHORA when customers lose their accumulated points for their loyalty! 💄💋😡🙅🏻‍♀️💸

Right here with you. Same thing happened to me. Years of loyalty and not going anywhere else, my points are gone. And I still spent with them every single year it’s not like I even missed a year

It’s unfortunate! Luckily there are so many other retailers we can buy from.
