Order cancelled due to “unsuccessful authorization”

I am a rouge member and finally after the site and the app being down, I was able to put in my big order yesterday. I wake up to “unsuccessful authorization” error. I’ve used the same card multiple times at Sephora and don’t know why this is happening. After waiting for such a long time, this feels like a let down.

the reason is BI points..don’t redeem any points for gifts during the sales, the same thing happened to me and after I asked, I found out that this is the reason

i’ve had the same issue! i placed my order 3 days ago and was wondering why i haven’t received any tracking info, so i checked the website and it said my order was canceled due to unsuccessful authorization. why is that? i’ve used the same card for all my orders and this has never happened to me before. will i have to put in another order?
