November 2017 VIB sale

Hello! I was wondering if there’s a chance anyone knew exactly when the November VIB sale is this year? I know it’s usually around the first two weeks but I’m trying to save up for a couple things this year and trying to plan out when I can go buy things around my work schedule...thank you!

i still haven't received my mailer and neither has my friend who's a rouge member. last year i had to call for them to send it and this year apparently BI members get a 15% (practically the same just 5% less than us vib members) and they get mailers more quickly than VIB and Rouge.... what is up with this sephora??? what's the point of spending so much then...

Thank you for posting the card. I haven’t gotten mine nor have I received any emails about it. 

But...That’s such a joke. A person that literally just opened their account as a BI gets only 5% less of a discount than an established VIB Rouge? They must be joking. 

I also called customer service yesterday. I was told that it was a one time use code per account that we have the option to use over 2 specified time periods. Once?? I am so disappointed.

Why is the vib 20% off the same as Rouge? I just hit Rouge but I'm wondering what is difference if you get the same discount 😝

The only difference is they'll gift you with a mini blush for Rouge.  If you manage to hit it twice in one year you'll also receive a crappy little brush.  No significant difference, apparently.

You're missing that VIB Rouge also get unlimited access to the Beauty Studio for free and typically you have to purchase $50 worth of product. VIB Rouge also have access to certain items first. Also the VIB Rouge gift changes every year, so it's no longer the Nars Blush it's the 56.5 Sephora brush.

I like that VIB Rouge also gives you free 2-day shipping on any order, no minimum.  However, Sephora also offers a one-time payment of $20 for free 2-day shipping to VIB members (or at least they used to).  So being VIB Rouge saves you only $20 a year....  eh.

I was just thinking that.  Furthermore, Rouge members have the same discount as VIB members.  I spend $500+ more a year to maintain the status.  I think Rouge should have more perks.

You actually have to spend $1000+ to hit rouge. I agree 20% seems small, especially since its only once a year

Idk maybe it's just me but I find it extremly disappointing that both vib and vib rouge have the same rewards. Like we should get more than 20% off. Sorry, seeing that card annoyed me a bit

Agreed. I'm VIB at the moment, but it feels like there's no real incentive to reach for Rouge anymore. There are a few extra perks here and there, but nothing good enough to warrant me spending $1000 a year for 2 weeks of 20% off. I've slowly been turning to Ulta more and more, and it's becoming harder to find Sephora appealing.

Im sorry ladies but have we forgotten how limited Ulta's brand list is.....put everything aside..I go to the store that carries the best brands. Sephora is also forever introducing new brands from over seas like Korea  Im sorry but Ulta has nothing on Sephora's abundance of skincare and makeup.

I agree Sephora has some great high end skincare and makeup and I will continue to shop at Sephora for brands that aren't at Ulta, but if there is a brand that is at both, I will pick Ulta every time because of their rewards.  I love their rewards program and their shipping has greatly improved in my opinion.

I totally agree with you. I've been a VIP Rouge member for several years and not sure what the benefit truly is... 

I know ULTA has 20% sales more often and you don't need to spend $1k+ a year to get this 'benefit'.

Time to pay more attention to Ulta now that they have more luxury, top-tier brands. Sephora you should redefine your Rouge membership and consider showing more loyalty and appreciation to your VIB Rouge members.

I've been VIB Rouge for as long as the "perk" program has been going on and every year I hope they will give us at least an extra 5% off. NOPE. Never happens. This year I have been taking my business to ULTA. Like everyone has said they have a lot more 20% off sales (like on your birthday month), and they give birthday gifts like Sephora. You only have to spend $500 a year. ULTA's website is a lot better and so is their shipping. I remember when it would take almost 2 weeks to get my package.

ULTA is my go-to now. You hear that, Sephora? You are losing VIB Rouges!
