Same - VIB Rouge members were super pissed last year (myself included) because VIB not only got the same discount as us, but we didn't get to shop during the VIB sale. The ONLY benefit to VIB Rouge is that we get the sale first. We don't get more of a discount, and don't get to shop the same weekends as everyone else. It just seems that Sephora, like any large company, doesn't really care if people are pissed because they know people are still going to buy from them regardless, but by letting us shop first they can call it a "benefit." It's total BS and not worth the $1,000 you need to pay to get the VIB Rouge status. There are hardly any worthy benefits at all to the VIB Rouge status in my opinion.
That totally sucks. What happen there are new products that came out after the VIB Rouge sales and VIB gets the discount. So frustrating.
That's unfortunate. I feel like rouge should be able to shop all three. The first week should be early access.
I agree. Technically, Rouge members have met the requirements for all three designations. They should have access throughout the sale.
At least they give a percentage and samples Mac and no one else does that
Very true but Ulta gives 20% off almost weekly... there are literally two sales per year at Sephora. Seems weak.
I agree. We were only able to shop during our specified time frame. I called and was told my Rouge event was over. I was SOL. There were things that were OOS during my “time frame”, so I couldn’t get it. They somehow came back the first day of the next tier. That’s horrible.
Plus the reward system at Ulta is FAR superior to Sephora’s lackluster “Rouge” perks. Ooh... for 10-1000 points you can spend them on deluxe sized samples that they probably get for free. Ulta gives points that equate to actual CA$H. You can be a platinum member at Ulta for spending $450. At Sephora it is $1,000 to be VIB Rouge. There’s not even a choice anymore. I regret being Rouge at Sephora because I could easily get most items from Ulta or the brands website while avoiding Sephora. They’ve changed dramatically after they’ve started to collab/partner with these arrogant YouTubers. No thanks.
Yeah, I get Ulta 20% off coupons (that include prestige) prob every other month.
But Ulta's 20% off and even their $3.50 off coupons can only be used on their drug store items, not prestige items. All Sephora carries is prestige items. So Ulta is just doing what Walgreens does. Its only twice a year when they have a 20% off on prestige items coupon. They don't give out samples either.
They give 20% off perstige every other month or so. And $10 off any purchase when you’re platinum for your birthday. You can use your points for money off of perstige brands. I just got the Stilla glitter gift set orginial price was $27 but got it for $7 because I had points saved up and a 20% off coupon. I get gift with any purchase coupons every 2 weeks or so. Even when I just get something for $3 dollars.
Prices just went up 10 dollars an item here. Bye bye sephora
You'll get 20% off prestige brands included discount when you become Platinum member at Ulta which requires $450 spending a year...
I get about 4 20% off discounts a year from Ulta, and their always off prestige items.
@TiffanyStarr Actually Ulta gives out 20% off prestige coupons about every other month. They also routinely offer several gifts with purchase and samples available online.
I bought some pretty luxurious brands from Anthropologie yesterday at 25% off. So that was better than the 20% off.
Or is it possible to avail of the promo if i reached around 350$ on my first purchase when I go to the US?:)
Hi, i'm from the philippines but i'm going to the US around first two weeks of november and leaving at november 13, im a new beauty insider is it possible for me to avail of the sale as i plan on stacking up on my beauty stash as an aspiring makeup artist 😄
