Missing $20 Mother's day gift card after purchasing $100

Hello!

 

I saw a promo on the Sephora app which stated if you bought a $100 gift certificate, you'd get a complementary $20 gift certificate. I purchased the $100 one, but never received the $20. So I went back into the app and pulled up the promo and screenshot the terms.

 

I contacted customer service at the email listed, and they stated that the promo was over. However, according to the terms of the promo, the promo didn't end until May 1 at 11:59 PM Pacific. I purchased the gift certificate at April 30th around 3 PM pacific time.

 

Order: XXXXXXXXXXXX

 

They stated that the promo ended at April 28th due to being sold out. However, this was not stated in the terms and conditions, and when I clicked the promotion on the App on the 30th, it still showed as valid.

 

Please advise. I do not want (and have not spent) the certificate if I'm unable to receive the $20 bonus.

I wanted to let you know, I took out your order number for security purposes. Also, I sincerely apologize for any confusion.
