Lasership - Delivery issues

My package was apparently "loaded onto vehicle" earlier today, "out for delivery," and then I got "Delivery could not be completed - Additional information required" a little after 6pm (I was home then). Why would "Additional information" be required when they clearly have my shipping address? They say they will deliver tomorrow, but who knows. What additional information is required?

 

Sephora brands itself as a high-class, higher-quality makeup store (esp compared to Ulta), but then it uses the completely horrible LaserShip? Everyone knows LaserShip is the worst. I read from a Sephora CS rep that there's an option to choose USPS delivery. Yes, but you have to pay extra to use USPS, even as a Rouge member.  

 

This is so frustrating. Although I know it's just been a day (so far!) - a lot of other people have had it much worse. 

 

Why does Sephora use LaserShip? And what additional information could be required?!

Got so excited to see this email. Until I realize. Nothing came. Freaked the heck out...checked my camera system. It was never delivered. This is beyond crappy to deal with.

I have not even received my products, but I got a text from Sephora it is delivered. I went out side to check as soon as I received the text, and I even checked the mail box, but nothing was there. And this is not my first time having delivery issues with Sephora.

 

Online purchase is easy, it easy perfect match for cosmetic because many customers are likely to do impulsive purchase. And it is also very likely customers will hate returning system unless they live right next to UPS. So what will happen if something delivered wrong? Customers will hate the website, the online mall, Sephora.

 

<Why same problems keep happening?>

Maybe Sephora is working with shipment company based on their *** personal preference ***, not by their customers feedback/experiences or Sephora's profit.

And all this incidents happen right after I bought 2-days shipment service stuff. It wasn't delivered today, so I definitely wasted by $15. By the way where is my cheap lip liner? I don't know. I don't care. It just ruined my day, ruined my mood, I have nothing else to do, so I'm keep going to telling everyone I know to not use Sephora website. 

 

And you know what?

 

Everyone knows! And they are not purchasing products from Sephora! I was the last dummist.
