Clear your cal, fill your basket, and get ready to shop because Holiday Bonus is right around the corner. Here’s a breakdown of the promo:

 

Rouge, you get TWO exclusive weekends of savings: Fri 10/26 – Mon 10/29 and Fri 11/2 – Mon 11/5. This means you get 20% off on the hottest beauty products before anyone else.

 

VIB and Insider, you will each get four days to shop. VIB will get to save 20% off Fri 11/9 – Mon 11/12 and Insiders will save 15% off from Fri 11/16 – Mon 11/19. Can’t wait to see you all there!

I’m Rouge! Tell me about Bring a Friend, please.

We’re glad you asked. For one day only, 10/26, all Rouge clients get to bring a friend to shop with them in-store and share their 20% discount. Your friend has to be enrolled in the Beauty Insider program and you both must be in-store for your friend to receive 20% off. Not only will your friend get to experience Rouge early access with you but they will also receive the sample bag, while supplies last.

 

Can I redeem the offer more than once?

If you forget something the first time around, don’t even stress. The offer can be used as many times as you want. Just one catch: One sample set per Rouge client on 10/26 while supplies last, in-stores only.

 

Is this offer available in Canada?

Yes!

 

What about Sephora inside JCPenney?

The offer is valid in Sephora inside JCPenney stores however, the offer is not valid on jcp.com.

 

Are there any exclusions?

In one word, yes. In lots of words: The offer is not valid on Google products. Not valid on previous purchases, purchases of gift cards or eGift cards, FLASH, PLAY! by Sephora, gift wrap, taxes, or shipping & handling charges. Clients are limited to the purchase of one Dyson item, three Drunk Elephant items, and three Tatcha items per SKU per transaction. Cannot be used in conjunction with other promotion codes or Rouge Reward.

Happiest time of the year for me!! I had to go in because the item I wanted was out of stock within hours of the sale online. Vaughan Mills location was not too busy (surprisingly). It was probably the best service I’ve had to date and incredibly fast checkout. The sample set was nothing too special for those who missed out, but I’m not big on tiny samples. P.S totally recommend the hourglass ambient lighting set. I have the trio, but I needed this one in my life. I’ve used it 2days in a row and both days received endless compliments. P.P.S grabbed a morphe brush $11-20% (WHAT?) impressive for the price! As always picked things up because my brain can’t separate “need vs want b/c there’s a sale”

I went yesterday morning at my local Sephora store , the cashier knew about the samples because they were near the cash register but I had to ask her for them . I sincerely think that she forgot about them since I think that I might have been one of the first rouge members that showed up about 10 minutes after the store opened! I called Thursday evening to have a SA put aside a toner that I wanted and she did ! Kudos for the Sephora Anjou personnel! Ever since this store had a major personnel change the SA are great, you can ask them to prepare samples and they do so without having “ THE LOOK “ 🙄 and are very helpful!

Meh, I'm only interested in certain samples. I got ONE sample packet (instead of a bag) yesterday and luckily it was a GlamGlow product. I'll be happy to try it.

I Went to the Del Amo Torrance store yesterday afternoon with my BFF. According to the email, there wasn’t a specified minimum purchase amount. I bought a lip gloss while my friend bought a tatcha set. I noticed neither of us received the sample bag. The cashier told us we couldn’t get the sample bag since we used the 20% off discount. Ok? So I asked another employee on the floor and she went to clarify. She said we had to make a minimum purchase of $35 I didn’t make a $35 minimum but my friend did so I asked for a sample bag for her. She didn’t give my friend one since the rouge member didn’t make the minimum $35. I called the rouge hotline and the rep clarified that the store can set their own rules basically. I was more upset that the cashier told me one thing and the other team member told me another. I just felt that they were being very dishonest and brushed us off. The rep was kind enough to gift me 250 points. For future events, I feel that it should be included in the fine print that stores can set their own rules so it is upfront and honest. I wouldn’t have wasted our time and the employees time had I known these rules beforehand.

@12ose If stores can set their own rules, what is the point of them sending out the emails with the rules? I agree with you that if they are going to vary by store, it should be listed. I still think you both should have recieved your sample sets since the email clearly stated no minimum purchase.

The cashier who rang up my purchase didn't know anything about the Rouge "bring a friend" on 10/26 to extend the discount and that both you and your friend get sample bags. I had to explain multiple times to the cashier my conversation with customer support (never received the mail for the discount cards so CS said to just provide the sale email at checkout) just so that the cashier could try to see if the discount could be extended. Then I had to ask for the Rouge sample bags for me and my friend and the cashier said it's very limited and for Rouge only until a coworker informed that both Rouge and friend can receive the sample bags. I wish the cashiers were more informed about the sale details 😞

I had a very similar experience yesterday at Polaris. I brought my daughter, who took the morning off work to come in with me. We have come together for the last five years and she always has been given a sample bag, just like mine. The sales associate was rushing us through, and the store wasn't even crowded at 11:00 am. She wouldn't give my daughter the sample bag even though it said on the card/insert that she could have one.

 

I feel like the fall sale has lost some of it's panache. There used to be more associates, giving out samples (deluxe) around the store, especially when you were purchasing items from a brand. I bought more than $400.00 in store yesterday (not to mention my huge online order), while my daughter spent almost $100, and they didn't want to give her a bag of samples? They were not even great samples!

 

In the past we have received really nice makeup bags, full sized lipsticks, travel sized skincare, nail polish, mirrors, brushes, totes, really fun items that made it worth going in to the store for the event. It's a big part of why my daughter and I have always loved shopping there. I remember back in 2014 going at night for a kickoff party, on a knee scooter when I broke my ankle. The store was packed, festive, and well staffed. We both received great sample packages and had a great time. Heck, I think they even had cookies and apple cider! Now the staff doesn't even know what's going on! I'm not a frequent complainer, and I have written some nice emails about great service that I have had in the past. But I just wish Sephora would bring back some of the fun! It's kind of the holiday season kick-off, they need to bring their "A" game back!

Those past events sound fun! I'm a recent Rouge so I can't compare with past events. I went around the same time you did, too. I understand how retail employees have to deal with a lot, but knowing the general details about the sale is important as cashier (unless they're purposely being stingy with the samples and discounts). The checkout process took much longer than usual and held up the line... I hope the customers after us had a smoother process.

I was glad about the service at Sephora Yorkdale, I got there around noon and the store was packed big time but I had no problem to find my items and my friends, I had one item sold out but the cashier was gladly to do the transaction online to deliver at my door next week ( btw I got the email earlier today saying the item was already shipped even before the items that I purchased online in the morning so props for that). The sample bag was not good, they could have added some deluxe samples, after all, we all spend our hard money on it but overall great experience, they set up a bunch of checkouts corners to be practical, my friend had 10 minutes to shop and was enough for her since she knew what she wanted, for me? I got everything but I'm coming back for the new Huda Palette.

I’m gonna rave about a Sephora location I’ve complained about many times, because today the Michigan Ave (Chicago) crew brought their A game. I was there around 3 pm and the store was busy. I was greeted at the door. Several cast members politely offered to help me throughout the store; no cast members were rude or “whatever”-ish with me. I also noticed cast members approaching and helping lots of other customers. There was just a really good friendly customer service vibe in that store this afternoon. 

 

One cast member in particular, Jessica, happily suggested scanning an eye cream box at the skincare IQ thingy (I didn’t know—or I forgot—Michigan Ave had one in the back) so I could more easily read the ingredients and see more info. She found me again a few minutes later and didn’t balk at all when I asked for 2 eye cream samples to help me choose a product. She also offered to give me a free-with-purchase skincare treatment/makeover, but I decided to hold off on that. Later on, she saw me in line for the registers and waved me over to ring me up elsewhere. She pulled up my account, saw I was rouge, and applied the 20% discount without prompting—and she remembered to give me a sample bag (she had to run over to the main bank of registers to get one for me). Hooray! 

 

I should also mention: the register line was long but also moved quickly. There were enough folks manning registers to get customers through the line impressively fast. But I’m still happy about being waved out of line for quick checkout, of course. 🙂 And when I left the store, I was thanked by cast members at the door for shopping. Overall, I had a great experience at the Michigan Ave store today. 

 

By the way @SephoraBIC, the 20% application is a big improvement over the way it worked for the BI appreciation sale. I love that I don’t have to show or mention a barcode email to get my discount this time around, and that I can reuse the discount throughout the sale. Thanks for listening to customer feedback!

So I went to the store twice today and I didn’t receive a holiday bonus the first time when I made a purchase over $140 and the second time I made a purchase over $220. And also the cashiers were so rude. The older ‘supervisor’ women there have such attitudes. I understand that you have a lot of responsibilities but that that no mean you treat the customer loudly and disrespectfully!

I went into the store to shop today and it was a terrible experience. No one helped me and after I paid I realized I didn’t receive my gift with purchase for being a Rouge. I asked a worker in the sales floor and she told me to go ask the cashier. I went back to thecounter and asked the girl at the counter if I needed to pull up my email to receive the gift with purchase (they were all behind the counter) she then answered that I was confused and the gift with purchase was for people that were “rouge” I told her that I was and she asked me for my phone number. I gave it to her and she then told me that the gift with purchase was for when people hit the $1000 mark. At that point I was over it, so I decided just to leave. I walked out of the store really frustrated that the associate at the counter didn’t know what the event was or didn’t care to give it to me. I know that the gift was not a big deal since it was just samples, what makes me upset is the way she treated me like I was asking her for something “extra” I will never shop in that store again.

Will the Dyson Airwrap be back in stock in time to actually use the discount? It's been showing up as out of stock for over a week both online and in all stores within a 100 miles. I'd really love to actually use my discount.

Unlike many who have posted today, I had an excellent experience. Last night I phoned my local store (Coquitlam) to check if they had something in stock (otherwise I would have bought it online), they did, and offered to put it on hold for me. Well, yes!

At the store this morning they had extra staff and everyone was smiling and helpful, with several wandering around to answer questions and hand out baskets. 

I got my item and checked out - the sample kit was scanned and added without my asking. Then I decided to look around some more and picked up a couple of small items. When I paid, I asked if they would put the new items in the same bag and they tucked in another sample bag.
