Gift card number scratched off

Hi - we just scraped off the tape to reveal our gift card number and the entire number lifted off. How can we fix?

Same happened with me and when I called the helpline a rude sounding pers

on just said they can do nothing about it .

Even though I peeled it off so gently, the number just stuck to the back of the sticker and Pin number is left on the card. I feel scammed off my hard earned money by sephora and their non apologetic attitude. Shameful they treat their customers this poorly.

I’m having the same issue but the different is that, the one who scratched off my gift card is the sephora staff because I asked them to check the balance for me but she scratched too hard and she refused to be responsible and asked me to call the number on the card instead. 

any advice?
