Expired Token Login Error Persists

Hi community. I’m here to ask for guidance and, hopefully, an actual fix from the Sephora team.


I’ve been ready to spend a decent amount of money on Sephora’s site, but CANNOT due to this persistent issue. Every time I try to log in, I get a “token expired or random number not match. Please try again.” message. This has been going on for MONTHS. 

I’ve reached out to the Support chat numerous times and they clearly don’t understand this issue at all, and it sounded like they had no idea that this issue even exists. I even directed them to the community posts about this issue and they completely ignored my messages calling attention to this known problem.

Community members, any tips?
This is NOT a forgotten password issue, but I’ve reset and tried to log in several times. That is, if I even receive a reset link to my email at all. I’ve cleared cache, cookies, history. I’ve tried multiple browsers. Nothing!

 

This is extremely frustrating. Sephora, do you not want me to shop?! I’ve been frequenting other beauty stores because of this issue. It’s not always feasible for me to get to a store and there are certain online-only things that I want to buy! Please help!

This has also been happening to me for months. I’ve reset my password multiple times but still nothing. If anybody knows how to solve this issue please help me.

I am also having this issue . I can only access my Sephora account on the phone app. On my laptop Win11, using Chrome Ver.  121.0.6167.140 (64-bit)  I get the  “Token expired….” message. What is the issue? I have cleared out cache, cookies. Selected allow tracking and nothing works.

This worked for me: Call Sephora customer service and have them change your email to a new email and have them send a reset password link to new email.

Any solutions for this problem? I am also encountering this issue and have tried everything to fix it but nothing works! Sephora, what is going on?
