Exchange order from Sephora.com in JCPenny

I ordered a NARS lipstick from Sephora.com in the color Cruising. It just arrived and is practically invisible on my lips. I would like to try Orgasm instead. Is it possible to exchange it at my local JCPenny, that stocks NARS? The nearest free-standing Sephora store is about 12 miles away. JCP is less than 4 at my local mall. The price is the same for both. I would prefer to go there rather than shipping it back for a return. Thanks.

You should be able to exchange this item at your local Sephora inside of JCPenney. I suggest contacting them to verify that they are able to process the exchange and what information is needed.You most likely will need your invoice from the online order and Beauty Insider information. Thank you.

Thank you, you're right. I scooted out at lunchtime and took the box with me (thinking the invoice was in it. It wasn't.). They were very nice, found me online with my account, and let me do an even swap for another color. A nice saleswoman helped me pick out a better color, too. I would not have looked good in Orgasm, so found what I wanted instead. All is well. 🙂
