To get curly hair, there are several techniques and tips you can follow in addition to keeping your hair moisturized and using hair oil. Here are two more ways to enhance your curls:1. Use a Curl-Enhancing Cream or MousseCurl-enhancing creams or mousses are specifically formulated to define and support curls. After washing and conditioning your hair, apply a generous amount of curl cream or mousse while your hair is still damp. These products help to shape and define curls, reduce frizz, and give structure to naturally curly or wavy hair. They also add volume and hold, helping curls last longer throughout the day.2. Try the "Plopping" MethodPlopping is a popular method for enhancing natural curls, especially for those with wavy or curly hair. After applying your curl cream or styling gel to damp hair, you place your hair into a cotton T-shirt or microfiber towel, then gently "plop" it into the fabric and wrap it around your head. This method encourages the curls to form and dry in a way that reduces frizz, adds volume, and enhances curl definition. It works by preserving the hair's natural curl pattern without disrupting it as it dries.

Spoiler HELP!!! i’ve always had curly hair and didn’t start taking care of it till 2020/21. I’ve noticed from the beginning of 2024 my hair has been more limp and falls way more in the shower i’ve noticed that some hair products that i’ve been using for months have started to not do much for my hair such as curl creams/lotions. I shampoo my hair twice a week.I get it wet everyday and condition daily to detangle in the shower. My hair type went from 3c and i’m lucky if i can get it atleast to 3a/2c when finger curling or diffusing. The pic where i have my glasses is when after using a gel and cream and air drying. the pic with no glasses is after using creams, leave ins, styling with brush and fingers and diffusing even layers. Please i’ll take any tips to get back the definition i used to have!!

Hey beautiful! I have 3c/4a coils and I LOVE the plus size perfect body mousse by amika, I have fine hair, too, and it does not weigh it down. its by far the best volume building hair product ive ever used, it works perfectly for air drying and overhead dryer drying, as well. its def a medium/lighter hold, but it will absolutely keep day one curls in place, if definition is what you're looking for. ps, there's a smaller version for $12 on amazon, the 30 for the full size, although its large, is just hard to swing for my poor self lmao. from looking at your hair, it should work really well! I hope this helps! honestly, we look like we could be related, its uncanny.
