Shampoo and Conditioner Suggestions

I have been looking searching and searching for a new shampoo and conditioner! I have thin curl pattern 2B and it’s hard to find something hydrating that doesn’t make my scalp oily. Any help will be greatly appreciated!! (:

Go to Sally Beauty and get their texture ID in the yellow bottles. I use the shampoo, conditioner (it locks in moisture and detangles) the leave in conditioner, the intense 20 min hair mask once a week, and choose your staying products. Anything texture ID is miracle products for curly hair and it's like $11 a bottle!!! I use the curly girl method if you've ever heard of it and it's done miracles in my hair. Stay away from shea moisture, the only other good line is Mo knows hair in purple bottles. Good luck I know it will work...and make sure you find the curl girl method Canada. It tells you all sorts of products your hair can and can't use 😁 #

Hi there! We have a similar curl pattern/texture it looks like based in your picture. If you're looking for something a bit more affordable but still tottaly awesome, I recommend Cantu Cleansing Cream Shampoo, it's sulfate, paraben, silicone, dye free and Treseme Botanique Nourish and Replenish Conditioner. I also use Curls Blueberry Bliss leave in conditioner for the protein in it. Also they all smell AMAZING! I'm going to look into the Innersense line although it's a bit pricier. Hope this helps and good luck with your curly girl journey!

You should try using the Verb Ghost Jumbo Value Set with Ghost Oil™ . I use it and it’s super lightweight and it’s amazing. It’s also not too bad of a price

Thank you!!!

Re: Shampoo and Conditioner Suggestions

Yesss I have the same hair type! First of all, I would recommend using sulfate free shampoos, since sulfates strip oil out of your hair which causes your scalp to overproduce oil to compensate for the loss. It's also not a bad idea to wash your hair less often.

Here are some brands at Sephora to look into:

- Moroccanoil

- Bumble & Bumble

- Briogeo (Curl Charisma)

Hope I helped! Please let me know if you have any other questions/want cheaper drugstore product recommendations!
