How do I delete and change my default color iq?

My current default color iq is not the color and I can't change it. I also can't add the correct shade because it's already added so now what am I suppose to do? Also, why am I seeing question after, after question about the same issue but it's not fixed? I'm a little confused why this was an issue in 2017 as well??

Adding on to this- I got a new ColorIQ done specifically to override an incorrect one (let my mom get a color match on my account... sheโ€™s not very into makeup but wanted to try one day) I got the email confirming my new number, but somehow the old number was added on the same day and is *still* the default... wtf. So I have the wrong number, twice, but canโ€™t add the new one again... This really needs to be fixed, especially since now I canโ€™t quickly tell if a foundation is pale enough for me!

I completely agree! This is such a usability issue... why even have beauty IQ? The entire website is essentially useless to me now because I've added IQ numbers that aren't true and I cannot remove them. Now my default isn't what my number is... it's enough to make me stop shopping online with Sephora. Sad.

You can add additional Color IQ numbers to your profile, however, the default Color IQ cannot be changed. I'm sorry about that! I will pass this along to the appropriate team so they can take this into consideration for future changes.

I would also love to delete some colors that are completely wrong. And my default was the first color in my account which is not the one I want. The last color didnโ€™t become my default. I find it very strange I canโ€™t edit this part of my profile...

@DaneeBT - This has been a problem since the introduction of Color IQ!  There are four Color IQs listed for me because they can be added, but they cannot be deleted.  Two were entered by me and two were entered by two different stores.  Like @Anonymous @, I would like to be able to delete two of the numbers and change the default to a different Color IQ.  I don't understand why we, the customers, are not allowed to update our own Color IQ numbers.  When looking at the new foundations coming out, I'm being matched to the wrong colors because of th

@Titian06 @Anonymous I'm really sorry we don't have the ability to remove the Color IQ numbers or change default IQ numbers on our end either! ๐Ÿ˜ž I know this is extremely frustrating and your feedback has been shared with the appropriate team.

I understand youโ€™ve โ€œgiven our feedbackโ€ but from what I can see this has been a issue since 2016 so I doubt itโ€™ll do anything. Iโ€™m still left with no answer or anything to do to help me correct this.  What do I do to get the correct foundation matches? Do I need to create another account or what?

We greatly appreciate you for taking the time to share this feedback with us and apologize for the trouble. You can search any ColorIQ number in the "search" bar on the site to pull up products with fitting shade matches. 

 

If you know of a foundation formula with a fitting shade match for you, you can also enter it into the ColorIQ system to reverse look-up other formulas with fitting matches: https://www.sephora.com/color-iq

even if I search the color IQ manually, it will still show results for my "default IQ" aka most recent IQ#. The only way it will show the results is if i am logged out of my account.

can we get an update since you've passed this on to the "appropriate team" This issue is still not fixed. It has been months/years people have had this issue. We should have the ability to choose our default tone and change/delete our tones as well.

@joanniee - Since Sephora got rid of Color IQ, I doubt they'll do anything now (assuming they were doing anything then).  Unfortunately the new Foundation Finder is terrible!  I still use my Color IQ, but as you pointed out, if my result comes back with my default and incorrect Color IQ, it won't show me if there is a match for the number I searched on.  Plus any foundation that comes out after Color IQ was eliminated, won't show up either.  Very frustrating!

Itโ€™s not letting me add my color iq because itโ€™s captured already and I need that to he my default. What am I supposed to do, create another account to get the right matches?
