Foundation help

Seriously!!! Someone please help or give me advice so my foundation doesn’t keep looking like this!!!! I use a primer and setting spray and my foundation always ends up looking cakey, I usually use a beauty blender but I tried using a brush... nothing.... need advice fast!!!

Hi @krisangel12,

I use the HUDA BEAUTY - #FauxFilter Foundationand agree with @JaneanBT the foundation is super thick! Applying a thin layer is key and build up in areas where coverage needs to be. You can also try incorporating an with and mixing the two so that the consistency is a little thinned out. 🙂

@krisangel12 It could definitely be the foundation making your face look cakey and setting it with powder is making it worse.  What's your skin type?

I dont like using powder so I use a setting spray, too faced hungover

@krisangel12 It's a skin care and foundation combo then.  Or maybe your applying too much foundation.

Hi @krisangel12,

I love that you use a Beauty Blender with this foundation. Huda Beauty Foundation is very thick and matte so it is very easy for it to look heavy. I suggest applying very little and making sure that your face is exfoliated and moisturized. This will prep the skin and it will be smooth and ready for the foundation application. You can also spay a moisturizing spray before foundation application as well. I hope these tips help a little.

during the winter its dry because I take the bus so I am outside in the Maine winter with the cold and wind, I am wearing huda foundation, they applied it all on my face at sephora so that I could day test it since I have to go a shade lighter because my skin oxidizes foundations and when they put it on it didn't look like this. this is the third foundation I have tried...

I just got the huda foundation and they applied it to my face at the store so that I could do a day test before I bought it since I have to go a shade lighter because my skin oxidizes any foundation I wear and it didn't look like this when they applied it...
