@tsavorite  Thank you for the tag and @Sunnysmom  thank you for the swatches! In the pan, evil eye looks too dark for me but your swatches are making me think I *might* be able to make this work 🤨 decisions, decisions. 
I got my (damaged) snake palette this week and tried it out today. So far so good! ☺️

Oh, I was confused!  I call Palette #1:  The Dragon Palette.  I'm glad that you got this one, It seems right for you!  It's the one that I ordered, too.   Mine hasn't arrived yet.

When you were writing about the Snake Palette Cover, I thought you were talking about a Palette that HourGlass offered last year, with a red snake on it.  Whoops.

I’m so glad you got your replacement @gonerogue ! Great CS! I was going to tag you and forgot! 🤦🏻‍♀️ I worried about the same thing with the shades and amazingly they are not too dark. I am hopeful it’ll work out for you too! Bet it could?! (I love that crazy red blush in palette 3 but just can not imagine it would work! Maybe they’ll do it as a single someday! That’d be great if so!) 💞

@Sunnysmom  It *could* very well work out. I think best thing for me to do is go in store and apply the shades to my arms or back of hands and see what they look like blended on my pale skin. That should be the ultimate test.

I am worried about the bronzer being too dark/muddy on me 🤔

Yup that’s truly the best idea isn’t it @gonerogue. Sometimes my stores are tricky with their lighting too. I head out to the light when I can! Bronzers in these are always the hard part for me. I was surprised these seem to work as well as they do. Or maybe I just think they do! 🤣 No, they really seem to be adaptable. 🤔

I want that red blush in palette #3 also!  So much!  I hope that HOURGLASS will offer it separately as well.

@gonerogue Oh no! What is wrong with your palette? Mine should be arriving tomorrow. I hope it’s unblemished.

@Beadshopgirl  They shipped it in a plastic bag with no cushion alongside a giant bottle of micellar water that I ordered. So it shattered some of the powders and broke the part of the palette with the snakes. Picture won’t do it justice- it was like hanging on by a thread.That plus the bottle of micellar water exploded in the bag- I later found out a part of the top was broken/chipped from transit which is what caused the product to leak in the bag.

messaged CS with photos and they shipped me a new one which arrived in a box with bubble wrap today and completely pristine. Very much impressed by how quickly they got all that done for me 🥰

@Beadshopgirl  That’s okay! They made it right so I’m not upset. I was upset being so excited for the palette and then it being crushed 😂 but I’m over that now. It’s a new day 🌈

@Titian06  Both 🥲 had it just been the case, I would have let it go but the powders were damaged so I had to let them know and see what my options were since I used only points on that whole order.

Is anyone thinking of getting the Evil Eye or Dragon threesome brush set? I saw on the Sephora subreddit that folks are complaining that the Dragon set is subpar in quality (and weirdly is priced at $150 and marked as a $72 value...!) The Evil Eye brush is a double-ended one painted with the palette details; the Sephora dragon three-brush set is simply golden with none of the dragon designs on the brush (just on the container.) I was considering the dragon double-ended brush because the design on the brush offered at Nordstrom is really nice, but TBH, I'm not too fond of non-fude brushes for powders. I might go for the Nordstrom dragon brush if it's half decent, but looking at all the fude choices on Beautylish, the Hourglass one just seems like an expensive waste of money for a pretty brush that just isn't that good. Thoughts? (Part. from anyone who has gotten any of the Hourglass holiday brushes.) TIA 🙂

The holiday palettes are available online today! I really wanted to check them out in person, so I travelled to my closest physical store, since the app said they had them in stock.  When I get there, they say “Oh yeah, it usually takes us a few days to get around to putting them out”.  *insert very large eyeroll here*.

I went back to my local Sephora AGAIN, and they STILL haven’t put out the palettes, not even the samples. So I gave up and ordered it online using a rouge reward for $100 off. I truly hope I love it, since I can’t return it. My daughter hopes I hate it, so she can steal it. Anyone who has known me here a long time - can you believe “Beadshopbaby” is 17???? I feel old lol.

@Beadshopgirl  Will you post photos for us when you do get them in store so we can see how they look IRL? I ordered the dragon one and depending on how deep the shades in the evil eye one are, I may or may not pick that one up as well. The holiday Hourglass palettes are staples for me at this point 🤪
