Unless I’m mistaken, we don’t yet have a thread dedicated to this amazing brand and Founder/CEO, Danessa Myricks. She launched her line at Sephora in February 2021. I have been so impressed with everything I’ve tried from her brand! I have been following her on Instagram for many years prior to that and was so excited for her to come to my favorite beauty retailer, Sephora. As a makeup artist, she always seems so genuine, warm and positive, and her line was founded on inclusivity and creativity.
On her website, she has instructional videos, some free and some for subscribers or purchase. She does incredible looks with color, but I’ve always been impressed with her complexion looks on all skin colors, tones, and textures. I started following her when I was working part time as a makeup artist at Sephora and I wanted to become more familiar with makeup colors on darker skin tones.
My first purchases from her line were the Colorfix pigments, which can be used anywhere, can be mixed together, and are incredibly versatile. They come in mattes and shimmers/foils in a massive range of colors. Most recently I have absolutely fallen in love with herDanessa Myricks Beauty Lightwork Vol. IV: Transcendence Palette - Illuminating Eye & Face Pigments . It is a phenomenally stunning palette with shades that are guaranteed to turn heads!
Even though I’ve even on a foundation no buy, I couldn’t resist her Danessa Myricks Beauty Yummy Skin Serum Foundationand Danessa Myricks Beauty Yummy Skin Glow Serum with Hyaluronic Acid & Niacinamide .
I’ve added a pic of my current DM collection below. I’m missing a couple items from this pic, so I’ll update once I have everything together.
So, please join me in sharing your loves and observations and pics from this great beauty line! Please post here and tag me if you catch announcements of any beauty releases or other news!

Thank you so much I’m really enjoying the chrome flakes I just ordered the Danessa Myricks Beauty Twin Flames Liquid Eyeshadow Sweetheart I’m really excited 🙂 @sister13
Oooh that’s so pretty! These stay on me really well and great as liner or shadow!! @peculiarzmakeup
That’s such a great idea to use it as liner as well! I love that! Thank you I’m really looking forward to it 😁 @sister13
Thank you so much! That is so kind 💕 @Titian06
I got a lovely package from DM featuring the Danessa Myricks Beauty Yummy Skin Blurring Balm Powder Lowlighter Soft Glow Highlighter Unbothered in all 4 shades plus a bonus of rwo of the blushes which always wanted to pick up but hadn’t gotten around to. @CynthieLu
Here’s the review I let on the product page for the low lighters, I really like these and have been using them a ton!!
I was kindly gifted these (no obligation to post) and have had a chance to try all four lowlighters. I’m really impressed with them. As someone with light cool-neutral skin, I was originally most drawn to Unbothered. It provides such a beautiful glow, I used it on cheekbones, eyelids, inner corners, lips and brow bones. Both Unbothered and low Key were beautiful combined with a sunset blush look. So versatile for light or more glam looks. I also tried Off the Grid, which looks like it would be too dark but has a unique, cool undertone that works amazingly for contour on light skin. I have some texture/bumps on my cheeks and they were definitely blurred and less noticeable with these lowlighters. Highly recommend!
L to R/Bottom to top:
Unbothered
Incognito
Low Key
Off the Grid
These blushes are also amazing! So very pretty, pigmented yet super blendable!

You’re so lucky! Congratulations, @sister13, they look beautiful!
Thank you! I do feel so very lucky! @curlychiquita
Such an amazing experience! Congrats! Beautiful swatches! I’m looking forward to seeing more of your experience with them! Enjoy 💕 @sister13
Thank you @CookieGirl1 !! It's really so generous and beautifully put together!
How sweet is that?! Her PR boxes look so fun! 😀🎉
Thank you for sharing them. @sister13
Oooh your swatch of all the Lowlighters together is so satisfying to see. It's pretty fantastic that you can work with all the shades, it really speaks to how versatile they all are. 😊
Thanks! I know, they are so nicely put together! The lowlighters look so pigmented, but then they really do sheer out. I love that they are meant for use everywhere since so many other products are not rated or recommended for eyes, or lips or whatever. It also makes them so versatile in that way, too! @CynthieLu
I just saw this! 🤩
She said that she's releasing a new concealer with details on her Teach Me Tuesday Tommorow.
She didn't release a lot of info, but it's possibly geared for those who need more hydration in the eye area.
I'm interested and intrigued. 😉
This is so neat! It’s always amazing seeing uniqueness, I love how so much thought goes into products while considering everyone’s specific makeup needs it’s fantastic 💫 @CynthieLu
Yes! I was coming on to post this! So
exciting , I just love her complexion products so I bet this will be amazing!! I can never watch teach me Tuesdays but I’ll try to catch the repost if I can! @CynthieLu
She's had so many exciting releases this year! I don't know what's in store for us but I really hope a tint with SPF is in our future 😀 @sister13
How cool would it be if you get to try these!
I was so thrilled to receive this lovely palette from Danessa Myricks to try and here’s my review and some other notes, and my first look using it. The palette came with this amazing fan and a slap bracelet.
I admit to being a little bugged at the erratic design of the palette when it was first teased but was intrigued by the looks and colors posted.
Okay and Am I the only one who only just realized that DREAM and Limitless make an “I” for “🩷 is 🩷” on the palette itself??!!
These colors are super silky and buttery, with DREAM being a vibrant multicolored rainbow. This made for a super easy rainbow eye, I just swiped each color of DREAM kind of vertically from lash line to above the crease, then blended the edges. I added Worthy, the peachy pink to the under eye. These colors kept catching the light in the evening and it is stunning and lasted at least 6 hours without smudging despite not using primer and having hooded eyes. It’s a little pricey for the amount of product but I think it’s worth the price and I had planned to purchase this one if I hadn’t received it. There are comparable colors to DREAM (not exact dupes) in Lightwork IV - I’ll post some swatches below. I look forward to using this more!
As always, the pics are more true and clearer if you click on them since Sephora’s site blurs the resolution.

This is DREAM compared to some shades from her Lightwork IV palette. It starts L to R, showing D, then Lightwork, then R then Lightwork, and so on.
Finally, a swatch of DREAM all together in one.
