Let's talk about Surratt!

I was looking for a general brand thread but it seems we don't have one. I blindly ordered the blush in Grisaille (to qualify for a promo), with such low expectations that I actually screamed "Oh. My. God!!!" as I was putting it on this morning. The texture of that blush is almost like a cream-to-powder, and super soft, like an angel's behind. The price is a little hard to swallow for something so little, and I wish the pan was magnetic instead of stick-on, but I still think I'll be picking up a few more colors because the formula is divine. 

What about you—what are your favorite Surratt items?

@Mochapj Ahhh okay gotcha! I knew I saw you post a photo of a palette once but I forgot where and if it was z palette or something else 😛 And yes the stickers really do suck, but thankfully i already have a bunch of magnets from an old z palette I used to have.

Hey everyone,  has anyone tried the foundation? I want to get it but I'm not sure about the colors.  I'm light with yellow/golden undertones. I know shade 4 is probably my closest match, but it's probably too dark.  I was thinking to get 1 as well and mix them as necessary? Any feedback? I'd say I'm about NC20 from mac, Linen from Dior, and a mix of Y117 and Y225 (or maybe its 245) from MUFE.

I find the  online representations so hit/miss with these.

Moss wasn't even on my radar but I swatched it in store on the weekend and it was gorgeous.

I'm happy with almost all of the ones I purchased during the rouge sale but I did return Nu and Chameau from my order after swatching them in store.

Oh my goodness I am OBSESSED with the eyeshadows and blushes I got! Holy crap now I need more. I'm in love! LOVE! Now I wish I got more of these eyeshadows instead of the Natasha Denona star palette lol. 

All are super pigmented and holy crap im so so so in love with the glitter eyeshadow! Its what Natasha Denonas glitter bomb from the star palette should have been!

I neeeeeed more!

I was at EC running an errand so I stopped in to Sephora to check the surratt display.

they have testers for about 50% of the new shades and all the new blushes except peau de peche.

slightly disappointed by DOW in person, but surprised by how lovely Ma Peche and Corsage were.

Here are some more swatches of the eyeshadows, for those without a counter nearby. Some look really pretty! I'm really excited about Corsage, Chameau, Amoureux, Vison. and more. Its hard to decide!

Lovely swatches. I only picked up La Rosee du Soir blush last night. It's my first Surratt Beauty purchase! I'm afraid to start on the eyeshadows...I'm going to want them all! lol

Thanks for posting @Mochapj! These are nice swatches. 

Cements my decision to pick up Classique... I think I can skip Tu Me Fais Rougir since it looks somewhat similar to Barbe a Papa and other ones I have... Mocha, do you happen to have Angelique? Any thoughts on it? 

Now I'm also tempted by a bunch of the eyeshadow singles 😄 DOW, Chocolat Noir, Corsage, Rosatre, Zibeline...

@lachaton I do have Angelique.  I like it on myself in the summer but I find it a bit strange on me when I'm paler.  It does remind me a little of Becca Rose Gold highlighter, if you have/like that?

I had the same thought about Tu Me Fais Rougir, actually 😄

I ordered Chocolate Noir before I saw these and I'm happy with my choice, but now also want Corsage and DOW (DOW looks ah-mazing!)

I have Zibeline and it is really lovely.  I didn't love a lot of shades in the first round of shadows Surratt released, but I'm really liking what I've tried of these newer ones.

@Mochapj Good to know! I don't have Rose Gold, because I already have similar products. I think I'll pass on Angelique (as pretty as it is in these swatches). 

I swatched a few shadows a while ago in store and didn't love them - but these look very promising! And I've been very pleased with the blushes. Sale seems like a good time to try out a few!

@lachaton I totally agree.

I found a lot of the 'old' shadows a bit too sheer/un-pigmented for my taste, but was willing to try out some of the new ones with my F&F code.

I purchased 8.  4 I loved and have worn several times, the other 4 I did not even attempt based on the discrepancy between online stock photo and in the pan.  Based on these swatches from Beauty Professor - I made the right choice to return those 4. 😄

Can't wait to see what you get!

No eyeshadows in their first release impressed me either. For me it was just shades that were just slightly off from what I would love. 

I just checked BP last night because I know she always has Surratt swatches but she didn't have any yet so thanks for posting these.

 Her swatch of Serin made me comfortable with having returned mine.  It really is big bird yellow.
